Good quality small beginners guitar.
This is a really nice little guitar. Perfect first guitar for younger children. It's well put together, holds tune and the nylon strings are easy on little fingers. Good product and great value.

Good Value
We bought this when my son started guitar lessons for soon. Its a really sturdy guitar and perfect for a 7 year old to use and practice with . I would recommend if you are looking for something that is a cheaper than going to a music shop. It also comes with a case that they can carry on their back.

Fair price to see if there is interest and talent
We have a long and wide family guitar tradition. I’ve never mastered it myself to satisfactory levels, although I can play most pop songs in the straightforward chords. My occasional strumming got our daughter interested. She has already tried to follow several online / Youtube beginners courses however the issue is that the neck of my grown-up guitar is too wide for her slender 9-year old fingers. the size and shape of this first guitar is just what we were looking for. And I couldn’t believe the price of this fairly complete set. I assume there is a quality trade off but so far it’s not noticeable to the undiscerning eye and/or ear. The guitar comes with case and accessories like nylon spare strings, a strap and a plectrum. The case can hold plectrums and guitar tuition books. I used an online tuning tool in combination with a Iphone app to get it tuned properly. Our daughter is now thinking about getting an after school guitar tutor, with my wife having an interest to join those sessions as well all of a sudden! (for which she will ‘borrow’ my beloved guitar!!). So for now this is a perfect guitar to see if it sparks her interest and if its starts a practice discipline. Eventually, if the guitar holds up we might swap the nylon strings with proper metal ones but for now it’s probably easier for our daughter’s fingers. In fact, we might trade up towards a more professional model/make if she delivers. In that case we will most likely keep this entry level guitar for her younger brother.

Good but…
Great sound, However, I noticed that it needs constant tuning after few use. Great for kids.

You can’t go wrong.
The one I received is a lovely red wine/maroon colour. There are a few minor blemishes & a couple of paint runs but for only £28 it would be churlish to complain. The other colours are over £40 so I think I got a good deal. There are spare strings & the bag is a light canvas rather than the usual cheap nylon. The strings take a lot of stretching in but if you persevere they Will eventually settle down. This 1/4 size guitar is just shy of 31 inches long & feels pretty light but well made for the price. It’s hard to tell what the fretboard is made of because the of amount of lacquer which coats the edges but the slightly rough feel on the edge of the soundhole suggests it is a so-called ‘engineered’ wood composite. It is also hard to tell if the frets are metal or not but they work Ok & there are no high spots. The action is high as is the case with most low cost stringed instruments but it isn’t bad enough to prevent you playing - it is 5 mm. at the 12 th. fret on mine. It could be lowered when restringing but I doubt if you’d get it much below 4 mm. with this type of bridge. I got it as a travel guitar after looking at a lot of overpriced guitaleles. The scale length is 50cms./19.8 inches approx. & the intonation is fine on my example. The neck is a bit slender at the nut but not much narrower than on an electric guitar but it will feel a bit cramped if you’ve got fat fingers. Inside the box there was a card inviting me to go online to extend the warranty. I find it interesting that this card comes from the Tiger guitar supplier. Now, their logo is carried by several companies selling similar guitars to this one at much higher prices so perhaps these cheaper ones are being sold to clear any that don’t quite pass QC. Who knows - all I can say is that I got a bargain & I’d buy it again - just don’t expect Yamaha/Fender quality at this low price; if you’re fussy suck it up & spend more. Recommended.

Pretty good especially for the money
I bought this for my grandson 3 years old....A bit young yes but its for the future and there ready when he becomes interested. It plays quite well ( i have several guitars) Nylon strings which take a bit of time to bed in .Half size. Decent sound for the price and a good finish. For the money not bad at all and will be a good practise instrument to start with before you spend a lot of money on a good guitar to find he's or she is not interested!!

Perfect for the price and age range
I’m a guitarist and own many quality guitars. We wanted to get a guitar for our grandsons 6th birthday and ordered this guitar. I see since ordering, it’s gone up £10 otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The neck is or course, too wide for me, but what I could play on it, it was fine. Some reviews mention going out of tune, but it’s only because they don’t understand how nylon strings need to settle down. The strings have fitted perfectly and the tuning keys are good.
