The most beautiful “Cinderella” gown I have ever seen!
Subtitles and audio in Eng, Fra, Spa. The most grandeur in the costumes, and settings I’ve ever seen. Love the acting; drama, romance, and they’re funny too. Special effects are most amusing. The entire movie is wonderful. And this “Cinderella” gown is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! But it’s for the men’s costumes, I decided to file this DVD in my “Men In Tights” collection!

Utterly charming!!
Lily James is perfection as Cinderella in this adaptation, one of the finest of all Disney live-action remakes of their animated classics. She has the astonishing beauty, the guileless countenance, and apparently no waist, as her sculpted figure sails through this magical tale of love. Helena Bonham Carter is likewise magnificent as the Fairy Godmother, both wonderfully kind and strangely goofy. Cate Blanchett gives a hiss-worthy performance as the evil step-mother. The art direction is beautiful, Ella's transformation is delightful - the whole thing is juts a sheer joy.

A Fairy Tale Come to Life
Watching the 2015 live-action Cinderella was like stepping into a dream—a beautiful, enchanting dream that brought me straight back to childhood, twirling around in an imaginary ball gown and believing in magic. ✨This movie didn’t just retell the classic story; it breathed new life into it, making it even more heartfelt and dazzling than I ever imagined. Lily James as Cinderella? Absolutely perfect. She embodied kindness, grace, and resilience so effortlessly that I couldn’t help but root for her with all my heart. And her singing voice? Pure magic. “Lavender’s Blue” was so soft and sweet that I instantly felt like a little kid again, humming along and pretending I, too, was a princess.Every detail in this film was breathtaking—the stunning costumes, the whimsical set design, the gentle yet powerful storytelling. And let’s not forget Cate Blanchett as the Stepmother—deliciously wicked, yet complex in a way that made her so compelling to watch.Above all, this movie reminded me why I fell in love with Cinderella’s story in the first place. It’s not just about the ballgown or the prince (though, let’s be honest, Richard Madden as Prince Charming was chef’s kiss 💙). It’s about kindness, courage, and believing in a little bit of magic. No matter how old I get, Cinderella (2015) will always make me feel like that little child who once dreamed of wearing glass slippers. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. 5/5 stars—pure enchantment! 👑✨

Love It . . . well cast and beautifully filmed
Cinderella has always been my favorite fairy tale. I saw this film in the movie theater.I have to admit I enjoyed it more watching on the DVD.Lily James is absolutely lovely as our heroine. I can see why so many people questioned the size of Lily James's waist in the ball gown. Lily has beautiful chemistry with Richard Madden as our prince. He is handsome, charming, etc . . . and they meet beforehand in the woods foreshadowing the reveal of the ball.Derek Jacobi is loving as the king and Helena Bonham Carter is the most fun as the ditzy fairy godmother. The stepsisters are malicious but in a half baked way and didn't make much of an impression. The most intense and focused character is Cate Blanchett as the stepmother. In the commercials for the film, I thought she was an unusual choice. I guess I have not seen enough movies with her as the evil character.Costumed like Joan Crawford in slimy lizard green with painted red fingernails enhanced her outstanding performance. She is malicious, selfish and attempts blackmail with a crooked royal advisor in the subplot to marry her daughters to nobles as well as becoming a royal herself. The stepmother receives her comeuppance along with her royal partner. The final shot of her is priceless. She looks stuck in time like a mannequin on the stairway. After Cinderella leaves through the front door, the stepmother sits on the step somewhere in the middle of the stairway. The camera frame of this moment foreshadows most likely what will happen to her. She looks through the rails like a criminal worthy of a future imprisonment. For all her selfish and malicious behavior, the stepmother has more than earned her unknown punishment as she is banished most likely penniless forever from the kingdom.Buy it and enjoy.
