I like these towels well enough. They're not incredibly soft but soft enough and thick enough. They don't shed. (I just wrote another review for a different set of towels that shed horribly, so these are fantastic in comparison.) I've only had them a few weeks but haven't had any issues with them falling apart in the wash; they seem quite well made. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I don't like the way they put the set together. The solid colored ones have a dobby border on one end but the "checked" ones do not. You can hang the solid towels with the non-bordered side facing out, but that means you have to be careful and you can't quickly swap them around if company drops in. Even the border of the towels is solid on the solid towels and striped on the checkered towels. They just don't look good hanging next to each other. But since you only get one of each size of each pattern, you don't have two of the same sized towel to hang next to each other. That forces you to buy two sets if you want that uniform look. I wish they would let you choose either solid or checked and get the entire set matching. However, these issues wouldn't bother some people, and since the towels are good quality for the price I'm giving them a solid four stars. Oh yeah, the color is also nice and matches what was shown (I got the green ones).

They shed a bit after the first wash and dry but afterwards, they’re completely fine. Fluffy and absorbent and such a soothing color. I use these for guests so I don’t use them often but they liked them.

I bought these for use in a busy vacation rental. They have washed well with no fading or discoloring. It took a couple of drying cycles to get the lint reduced to normal. I bought 4 sets and only 1 washrag and 1 towel had a small amount of loose threads that are easy to mend. I love that some are textured and some are not. They are mildly thick and absorbent. My only complaint is that the heavier ends tend to scrunch tighter than the body of the towel once dried and because of this, they should be dried on medium to low. I have to pull and stretch them to even them out for folding. They are also a bit smaller than my retired towels, but that's not a huge deal.

I should have listened to other reviews. These towels started fraying immediately upon first wash after they were delivered - before they were even used! I was also explicitly searching for larger bath towels, and these got recommended despite being average/small and not listing the dimensions. I didn’t take any stars off for that though because I should have read the description more carefully and known these weren’t the size I was looking for - but ai added it here to make sure others didn’t make the same mistake as me. I did add a star because the towels are quite plush, and another because overall the price is low. I think if you’re on a really tight budget and need towels and wash clothes, this bundle could work for you. But you will need to cut off frayed edges frequently.
