Good for 84602 model
It works great with my Liftmaster opener (model 84602). The original battery lasted three years, so I'm hoping this one will last longer.

Works perfectly well.
This is battery was a perfect replacement for the original Liftmaster battery which was inoperable after about 5 years, the expected time of its demise. It looked new, even if its manufacture date was about a year old which is no problem for a lead battery that has not seen any service, and it was in a Liftmaster box, with labelling on the battery which looked exactly like the original. Both are made in China, and it seems either original or made by the same company that sells directly to Lifemaster. Of course, since I just installed it, I can't comment on duration of life, but its surface voltage was correct, and it operates the door without problem with the AC disconnected from the motor. The battery was shipped promptly and came in good time, properly packaged. Based on service rates where I live, between the call and the extra markup on the battery if you buy it through dealers or servicemen, you'll probably save $150-$200 to do it yourself which is an absolute snap. I think any one of my five cats could have done it: Just remove one Phillips screw, pull the battery half out, disconnect the terminals, insert new battery halfway in the housing, reconnect the terminals, which are size coded to you can't get it wrongly, and push the battery home, close the door and reinsert the single screw. It takes all of a few minutes tops. Because this is a low voltage circuit, you don't need to turn off the power, and you are in no proximity to high voltage wiring. After you have successfully installed the battery, the low voltage beeping should go away, and you should have no more orange or red warning lights on the chassis. After you have had the battery in service for 24 hours, disconnect the motor by pulling out the AC power cord, simulating a power failure, and run the door up and down a couple of times to be sure that the battery is working properly with a load BEFORE you throw the shipping box away. BOTTOM LINE: ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECOMMENDED WITHOUT RESERVATION.

So Far, So Good for "Used Like New" Version
Update Jan '21 (for the Used Like New): A year + since installation; working just fine! This is for the Used Like New version from AAA Security Depot. The product description by the "used" ("other buying choices") indication reflects they are selling a new, possibly surface-blemished battery from old inventory. I went for it: My 5 star rating is really anticipatory. I received the battery in a Liftmaster OEM box, and it was indeed an OEM battery -- as pictured. The box had been opened, but the "used" write-up description said that the seller had charged it -- so no problem. It looked new to me. I did not see any blemishes, the terminals looked new. Today is 12/14/20; the battery said manufacture was March 2019. My old OEM battery had a similar-in-appearance manufacture label dated Aug 2012, so the old one lasted over 8 yrs from manufacture. Based on other reviews of Liftmaster batteries vs those from third parties, I'm pretty confident that I'll get a much longer life from this new battery than I would from a non-OEM. Good deal!

Original Equipment Is Generally The Best Idea
This is a direct, original replacement part from the manufacturer. I think it's worth the extra money for the peace of mind that brings. Don't play games with an expensive garage door system. Get the right part. I noticed that the generic replacements didn't weigh the same----and didn't look to be the exact size/shape of this part. That threw up a red flag----maybe the voltage was correct, or maybe it was enough to get the job done----but would there be a greater chance of the battery leaking? Or would it not last as long? I don't know and I didn't want to take the risk. Oh, and I'm a klutz with tools----but this was about the easiest task for home maintenance that I've ever taken on. It was about the same as changing a light bulb----with just a couple very easy, self explanatory connections to make. Took about 5 minutes, if that. When the alarm started sounding that my back-up battery was dead, I called the garage door company and left a message. They didn't return my call and in the meantime, I found this part on Amazon and ordered it. I'm glad I did----might have saved at least $75.00 by doing this myself instead of paying them for a service call and undoubtedly a big mark-up on the battery. GO AMAZON!!!

Questions remain
The battery arrived on time. When checking the manufacturing date on the box I learned that the battery is already 9 months old. Not happy about this as it raises questions on longevity; however, when buying the battery I also purchased the 2 year protection plan. The installation was easy. I was hoping the box would provide suggestions on how to dispose of the old battery but it did not. The battery is working but I am not in the position of weighing in on longevity or value for money although I do feel the purchase price was a bit much.
