The scissors are pretty much useless and wouldn't even cut the thread. The needle eyelets are fairly small, but I was still able to thread it fairly quickly. I just needed something quick and relatively cheap to sew on a button. If you are someone who does not sew items fairly often and is just looking for minor repairs, then this kit will work fine for you.
