You'll need a small screw driver to lift the compartment. **Q: Are the lights and sounds suppose to come on every time the burner button is pushed?** A: Yes they are. Did you check the switch underneath the burner where the 3 batteries go? **Q: Does anyone have an email address for the company so I can order replacement parts? I can’t find one anywhere.** A: I dont know my older granddaughters put the kitchen together. Instructions went in trash. **Q: How do I contact the original seller for a replacement of the coffee pot that leaked all over everything?** A: I don't know. I did not try to replace it.
