Freckles be tamed! As for lightening dark spots, this little powder works great. To be clear, I am a freckled faced girl. Only God (or a laser) could remove my freckles. However, with age came additional dark spots that wanted to just blend in with the freckles. Not a good look for me. This Philosophy C powder IS actually lightening the dark spots. I am not a chemist, but I think keeping the powder separate from a cream or moisturizer until application is the key to its efficacy. There is a drawback in that it seems to take all the moisture out of the moisturizer I use. It also seems to overall lighten my skin. No worries since winter is approaching and I am fairly certain the summer sunshine will add back a shade or two. As for a dewy moist skin appeal, I simply add the powder to my nightly routine every other night. I use Estee, IT, Philosophy or Aveeno skincare and so far this works! I write this review as a 63 year old women who never wants her skin to look a day over 40! I've invested since my 20's. That said, please use caution and consider a more professional review of the science.

This is an amazing product. Saw a difference after 2 weeks of consistent use--radiant glow. I just mix about 1/2 scoop into my morning facial cream (not at night--I use a different night serum) and it blends it easily. Sometimes stings just a tiny bit--b/c it is acidic, but it's not a big deal. The C boost has reduced breakouts and I see a glow...and dare I say, my wrinkles are less noticeable! Love it! $39 at Nordstrom, on Amazon, way cheaper (sometimes as low as $8 or $9 cheaper for same product). A little goes a long way and use with your favorite daily facial cream. I will definitely keep on using this.

Like many women my age, I used tanning beds with an abandon in my teens and even 20s. All of that UV damage has now surfaced to my skin and this year I had horrible sun spots all over my cheekbones. No matter how much makeup I applied I couldn't get them to fade. This powder has made such an improvement in only a few weeks! Following the advice of some other reviewers, I started with half a scoop of powder in the palm of my hand, then added 5 drops of a hyaluronic acid serum, mixed them together really well, then applied all over my face. I let that dry completely, putting on my eye cream and deodorant, and then coming back to apply moisturizer. Within a couple of days my skin was brighter - kind of like the glow I had when I was pregnant! And best of all, now a few weeks in, the sun spots have really started to fade. I can completely cover them with makeup now. It also worked to reduce some of the old acne scars I had from years back. I wish I knew a long time ago how well this stuff worked! I will be a customer for life!

I just bought my second bottle of this powder....I like it and like the routine of mixing it into my moisturizer every morning. My skin has definitely improved in the last three months (2 1/2 months is about how long this product lasts with a daily spoonful -- not too bad) since I've been using this product, however there have been a number of other factors involved so I don't know how much I can specifically credit the Booster C. When it comes down to it though, I like using this product, especially during the summer, because of the known advantages of using potent vitamin C as a preventative measure against sun damage. Even though I don't know how specifically transformative this product has been for my skin, I will probably keep buying it as an anti-aging investment for the future of my skin.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing because of the price and the weight of the product. But I use vitamin C in my chemical lab for transport of amino acids and know just how potent of an antioxidant it is based of it's transport mechanism. I have had the unfortunate event of running into a lot of really crappy serums and moisturizers that have a lot of fragrance and oxidize before you're even halfway done with the product or have broken me out the next morning! I have been combining half a scoop of the turbo booster with my Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu C moisturizer and have noticed a world of a difference in my acne scarring. My skin is smoother, not as oily and the treatment works well with the mild AHA and BHA acids I have in my skin care routine. I know the bottle will last quite a bit of time, and if kept tightly closed and in a dark, cool space, I don't have to worry about it breaking down and reducing in potency too soon. I am pleased with this vitamin c purchase for once in a very long and annoying history of purchases.

I have been using this stuff for 6 weeks now and I love it my skin is definitely brighter and with a glow I had a slight discoloration on my cheek it is 90 percent gone in these 6 weeks of using this stuff it is amazing if you are on the fence about this stuff because of the price or whatever I am here pushing you over lol because this stuff will amaze you yes a bit pricey but worth it a little goes a long way honestly using daily this stuff will last you upwards of a year and what's more you just mix with whatever moisturizer you use now and go so easy and I promise you will love the results

I've purchased this product three times from Amazon. I love the way it brightens my skin. However, with my most recent purchase, there was no seal on the bottle and no way to know if it had been opened before. Has this happened to anyone else? I've seen other people leave reviews for beauty products and warn that they can't be verified as pure if purchased from Amazon. I might be buying from Sephora from now on.

love this stuff. Just a little of this vita c powder in the morning mixed in with your moisturizer is all that you need.It does come with a little scoop so that you can measure it and not waste. I was developing pigmentation on my face from spots and my skin just looked unhappy, looking very dull. But since using this product I have noticed a massive improvement in my skin all round. Of course it did not happen over night so if you do try this product, give it time to do its job. I'm now using my second bottle and it has definitely become a crucial part in my everyday skin care routine.

One of the most important over-the-counter items on my skincare table. It's a game changer for skin. I won't live without it.

WOW! I used to buy this product from a different brand but it was double the price! This is the exact same product but just different company and works exactly how my other one did! Im so happy, my melasma from my pregnancy is going away! And my hyperpigmentation. My skin looks more clear, and the texture of my pores are much better. I stopped using this with the other company people it was just too expensive, over $100 per bottle. But I will be a long term costumer for this price. Thank you!!!

I absolutely adore this stuff. I mix it with my serum before applying moisturizer and my makeup. It instantly brings a glow you my face, literally. It really wakes up my complexion. Won't ever be without it.
