NOW Essential Oils, Bergamot Oil, Sweet Aromatherapy Scent, Cold Pressed, 100% Pure, Vegan, Child Resistant Cap, 1-Ounce

I like Earl Grey tea, but I don't like the price usually, so I started looking around for a way to make my own. I started with my favorite tea, PG tips, and went on to find oil of Bergamot to complete the recipe. I searched high and low for a quality oil at a good price. I could have gone to my local food coop, but they tend to be over-priced. This bottle is the largest quantity of good quality oil for the lowest price. Some oils were labeled in such a way that I couldn't be sure they were intended to be ingested, and I didn't want to take a chance on them. Maybe it wouldn't have mattered. At any rate, this oil has the great bergamot fragrance associated with Earl Grey tea. I find that one or two drops is all I need to add the flavor to a nice strong cup of PG Tips tea. I either add it to the tea leaves in the pot before adding the water, or I add it to the cup with my stevia before I add the brewed tea. I stir it up well, and give it a couple of minutes. When you drink it immediately, it is a little bitter. I think it needs a little bit of time to evaporate some of what is going to evaporate. I'm just guessing. But I do know that it tastes better after it has mingled with the hot tea for a few minutes. The opening is one of those that allows you to control the drops. It works very well. I find that I have to turn it a certain way to get the oil to come out. If you look inside the dropper opening, you can see it is in 3 sections, and 1 section is different. It drips better if this one different section is down toward the cup. Otherwise, it is hard to get a drop out. I think this bottle is going to last almost forever. Good product, great price. Highly recommended.

I've become a big fan of NOW essential oils in recent years. I've tried brands all over the cost and quality spectrum and find NOW essential oils to be the best value for the price, with not a single disappointment after trying 15+ varieties. This bergamot essential oil is no different. Bergamot is one of my favorite EOs to add to my diffuser blends and various home cleaning products. I love how the fragrance is a perfect middle ground between fresh citrus and soft floral. It adds a clean sweetness to any blend of oils, but I especially love to mix it with other citrus essential oils to create a perfect balance. It helps to mellow out the sharpness of lemon and grapefruit, while adding a fresher floral tone to the sweetness of orange or tangerine.

Fresh, accurate smell

I am very sensitive to certain scents. This Bergamot is subtle yet still has enough fragrance to keep the room with a nice aroma in the diffuser.

I'm very impressed with the value of this oil. The scent is strong and seeming authentic. The oil has a bright yellow color to it which I was not expecting but isn't an issue. I find the scent to be long lasting and very uplifting. I use this mixed with witch hazel in a spray bottle for my face and I believe this to aid in clear skin and a glowing complexion. I am so happy with this purchase and plan to buy again. This size of bottle will last me a very long time tho bc the potency is so high I only use a few drops at a time and that lasts weeks! Love it
