Honeywell Howard Leight Leightning L3,Premium Ear Muff(Nrr 30)

Top notch ear defenders. I am a marine engineer and noise levels in my work place are up to 120 Decibels. With this ear defenders the noise levels are greatly reduced to comfortable levels. The fit is perfect and comfortable inspite of my large head size and spectacles which i wear continuously. The material and build quality is fantastic. It's sturdy. Note this is a ear defender which means it reduces the surrounding noise levels to acceptable limits. They are not noise cancelling/blocking ear phones. Basically ear defenders are used for reducing the surrounding noise levels to acceptable limits not to cut it out completely. I my marine field i have to be able to hear the machinery sounds so as to note/find any abnormality. Since machinery sounds are very high the ear defenders reduce it to normal levels so that working in such noisy environment will not harm your hearing in long term exposure.

Works wonders. Best solution for a noisy neighborhood with construction going on everywhere for months together. I can work in peace now. Excellent Quality & Highly Effective.

The ear-muffs are very effective. It can filter distant high-intensity volume. Near high-pitch sounds are diminished to 20-30%. Near low-frequency high-intensity sounds, such as bass of speakers are diminished till acceptable level. May not be very effective for exam-study, but definitely saves your eardrums. Students could use it regularly for short duration.

When you put it on your ear you will be like on your own world. best for meditation and noisy place. Keep in mind if you combine earphone with it, you will hear absolutely nothing but if you only ware it you will be hear some little sound like 10%(I'm talking about car loud horn and loud human voice). even you can hear your heart beat if you only ware this. superb product.

Item seems to be alright, however the ear pads are not very comfy and the plastic frame inside hurts a bit. Pacing was pathetic. It arrived with bottom side open.

It says noise reduction, so I don't know why people are complaining. Nowhere does it say that it completely eliminates all noise. It reduces audible noise by 70-90% which is more than sufficient for most cases. You have to understand that all hard material conduct sound, unless they are made up of say completely of rubber or something. Even then some noise will sneak in. If you want complete silence, pay more $$$ and get professional heavy duty ones like the ones used by flight maintenance crew.

I wore & i loved it. Complete seal & excellent noise dampening. My wife wore it & was like meh. Not that good. Why? Because her hair, her glasses & her facial structure did not allow her to get as good a seal as i did. That's the secret. That's the reason some people give rave reviews, while some dislike it. I for one love it. Performance & quality both. Cheers

Genial producto, lo uso para trabajar en una seccionadora de tablero en un ambiente industrial con mucho ruido y aíslan fenomenalmente. Cabe la oreja entera dentro sin hacer daño ni tocar con la esponja, deja un margen para transpirar. Almohadillas de piel y cómodas. Llevo gafas puestas y no molestan con las patillas. Buena compra muy recomendable, después de los peltor son los mejores que tuve. Sobre todo por la diadema, que también lleva un pequeño almohadillado y las costuras redondeando la propia diadema lo que facilita quitarlos un momento al cuello sin que te deje marca, ni te haga daño.

I used these while shooting at a public range. Very comfortable: It was easy to forget I had them on. I had to be reminded to take them off a few times. Quick to put on and quick to take off: Muff style hearing protection, which is much safer than earplugs because you can put them on and take them off in a second. By comparison, to put in one earplug you have to roll it, insert into your ear, and hold it in place until it expands. Each step takes a few seconds, doesn't work well for all ear sizes, and is error prone, which leads to a false sense of security. It's also possible to forget to put on your hearing protection and expose yourself to noise levels that can cause permanent Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). With muffs, you can quickly correct your mistake before additional damage is done. Easily visible by others: At the public range I use, everyone present has to agree that the range is hot before it's time to shoot and cold when it's time to adjust and replace targets. If you use muffs, the people you're shooting with can easily see if your hearing protection is on as extra confirmation that you're ready start or stop shooting. Excellent NRR of 30: These earmuffs provided enough protection to shoot the following ammunition comfortably while still allowing me to communicate with the people around me. (I realize that the quantity of powder in each round is the relevant figure here, but I don't have that available at the moment.) * 12 gauge shotgun shells (2 3/4" - 2 3/4 dram equivalent - 1 1/8 0z. - # 7 1/2 shot) * 20 gauge shotgun shells * .45 ACP * .22 LR rimfire * .223 & 5.56mm NATO (.308 rounds were just loud enough to be slightly uncomfortable.)

スポンジが密着ぎみなので耳の中が蒸れやすいです。スポンジ部分がやや柔らかいつくりなので、使い込むとスポンジの交換が必要になります。交換スポンジの価格は送料を加算すると本体の金額と大差ないですね。長時間の使用だと耳の周辺が痛くなります。一般のイヤーマフ（NRR29）よりは防音効果高いです。
