It's a real agate and has nice bands. Great size for holding. Came with a little bag and carefully bubble wrapped.

I like the variety of markings on the stones. I also appreciate the high gloss and smoothness. Some of them are fairly small so just realize that you will be getting different sizes. They are gorgeous but rather pricey.

When I ordered, I figured I might get a stone with a few lines and spots of color. I still gave it a shot because I love all rocks, and I’m glad I did! I got the cheapest offering thinking I wouldn’t be out much if I got hosed, but this stone is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are vibrant, lines and swirls and spots flowing together are just stunning. I believe this stone is actually sardonyx, which is actually banded onyx or chalcedony quartz. People who don’t understand stones or don’t understand what they are buying won’t understand that there are variances in this stone that include color and patterning. Getting a stone with shades of gray instead of the browns and reds doesn’t make it lower quality, and it’s unfair that they leave negative reviews because of their ignorance. I, however, am completely pleased with my purchase and will likely purchase again.

These are beautiful! They are the size they look like on the Amazon picture. We use them to hold down cards when we play on the deck. We live looking at them.
