And This Chair Was Just Right, Actually Perfect
My husband has always appreciated a well-made, safe, comfortable, light weight lawn chair for a man over 6 feet tall. This chair fulfills all of his criteria. Over the years, we have had to look far and wide to outfit him. Now older, with a hip replacement in his history, I wanted to make sure we got best. He is very pleased with ALPS Mountaineering Ultimate Recliner.Motorhome trips have been infrequent due to Covid 19. Currently, he is sitting in his "throne box" on the front drive way, monitoring the nieces and nephews on their scooters/bicycles maneuvering a chalk race track.I have experienced some difficulty opening and closing the chair, as the reclining feature, seems to get hung up on the substantial armrests that frame the seat. Not sure is this a learning curve or a detail of design we just need to deal with.

Worth the upgrade from a camping chair
I got this to replace one of those butterfly folding camping chairs, so that's what I'm comparing it to. I got it for my balcony, not to take the the beach so I ignore how easy it is to fit in a car. I just wanted something I can fold up and move out of the way when necessary. The first thing I noticed is that it feels like a real chair, with a flat seat, vertical back and solid arms, unlike the camping chair that I sink into like a hammock and is useless for sitting at a table. This chair reminds me a lot of an airplane seat, except it reclines further all the wayIt's got real arm-rests, not the elastic kind on the camping chair. The plastic is textured so my arm doesn't stick to it (as much).I like that it's tall enough for a headrest, and the attached pillow is a nice touch (and removable). It's got enough settings so I can always put it at just the right angle. It seems weatherproof, at least I've been leaving it out in the rain and after a couple weeks it looks fine. Five stars, I would buy it again, in fact I'm thinking of getting a second one.

Great, sturdy, reclining camp chair!
So it's comfy and tougher than I expected when I first received it. Survived two weeks of hard-drinking car-glamping in Shenendoah with a 275 lb monster passing out in it three times a day. Can fold up weird but just needs a little throttling to fix it. Doesnt melt when hot ashes land all over it either. Lightweight but bulky in the car, only folds flat-ish, knobbly

Look no further
This is a very nice camping chair. I have searched for a camping chair that would be comfortable and have options for reclining. After trying various gravity chairs and returning them, I decided to try this one. The search is over. The only other item I now need for full reclining comfort is a foot stool which shouldn't be too hard to find.It is lightweight but seems well made. It doesn't fold down to a super compact size but that is okay. I don't intend to backpack with it. It will be a car camping chair and a lovely one at that.

Good chair for a porch or patio
This chair has an a!uminum frame, good for rust resistance in the south. The mesh is strong, easy to clean and durable. Adjustments on arms are ok, but slip out of place easily when the chair is moved. The powder coat on my chair was damaged and exposed the aluminum near the hinges. A little heavy to haul from a car to a picnic ground, but all in all a good product.

Great outdoor recliner
This is my second one. The first one is still great after 2 years outside, under the porch roof. I bought another one because my guests keep sitting in this one. I take it with me when we car camp at parks, I find I can set the back way down and nap in the afternoons. This really is a great recliner.

Serious Comfort! Heavy to carry but worth it!
Most comfortable beach chair ever! Awkward and somewhat heavier to carry, but so worth it when you get to your destination! Move over Tommy Bahama, Rio and all the other low quality, high priced chairs! This is comparable to Yeti!

Tall, comfy, but more difficult to fold than previous model
Comfy chair. Tall enough for us. I am 5'9". My husband is 6'8". Our only issue is that the chair does not fold as easily as a previously bought model by the same company. It tends to get stuck when the back folds up on the arms. Still we love the comfort and height.
