I keep cloth pads on hand mostly for my young teen daughter, as she is not interested in foraying into the world of menstrual cups and such yet like I use. Haha. I would say these are sized for an adult, but that's the general size we already have and my daughter likes that because it feels like she has more coverage in the front and back. I use them on the first day or two of my cycle and they fit me fine as well (I'm relatively small myself). I tried them overnight and didn't have any leaks, and I have a pretty heavy flow the first day or two, hence why I don't use my menstrual cup those first days. You have to wear more snug fitting underwear though, or they move around. I wish someone who makes these things would come up with a way for them to stay put better. That's something I've experienced with multiple brands of cloth pads though, not just these. My only complaint with these is sometimes I have to wash them twice in order to come clean. Our other pads come out fine with one wash. So I would recommend pre-treating or giving them a good rinse in the sink beforehand These pads in particular are one of the better bargains available on Amazon I believe.And I just have to get up on my soapbox for a minute. If you're looking at this product and considering more economical ways to manage your period for the first time, good on you. I feel a lot better knowing we're A.) Not contributing to pollution with countless disposable pads & tampons; B.) Saving a lot of money over time with not having to purchase disposable pads & tampons; and C.) We're not putting chemically treated products in or on our bodies. Love to help recycling by being eco friendly. I wash it immediately when, I take it off. At night when, I take a shower I just wash it in shower with laundry detergent & let air dry. If I have any stains after it is dried I apply h. Peroxide to white part & let dry again repeat as needed. Great way to save money and not have so much trash. Go Green!! I would buy again & plan to buy in future. I these 6 & 4 that are a different style but same brand. I recommend to every women who wants to save money, be natural & go green.
