My feet are very wide at the ball of my feet and usually cannot find a sole wide enough at that point. If the shoe is wide enough, the whole shoe is wide and still does not fit properly. These shoes are as if they were made for my feet. They remind me of the way shoes used to be when they were made for you by a cobbler. They are very simple and made with what seems to be high quality leather. They are not waterproof, but you can seal them with boot wax. They are not insulated so they are not ideal for cold weather. A good pair of socks make them warm enough for me.The only few things that some people may want to know, is that the top portion of the shoe where you make your bow, tends to overlap when you strap them down. The other small item I would like to note is that the sole of the shoe is just a toe piece and a heel piece. The sole does not go from the toe to the heel. The arch area is just leather. Also, black shoes are uncoated leather. I highly recommend sealing with a boot wax and then applying shoe polish. They are not shiny as pictured. For me this makes no difference, but I thought it was worth bringing up.The black marks on the inside are from shoe polish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great feels great *by H***N on October 25, 2018* Fits and feels really comfortable. Looks like a boot feels like l a tennis shoe or jogging shoe. I haven’t worn them outside yet so I will give an update later on this review. They are better than what I expected. I live in the Philippines now so it’s important that I get the right boots shipped to me. I were a 11 size tennis shoe or jogging shoe but I’ve heard with boots you should go with a half size smaller so I did with these and they’re perfect. I am so happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome style, so-so comfort *by T***R on January 1, 2019* I love the look of these shoes, and they get lots of compliments from others. The only bad part is the lack of comfort. The bottom has no cushion whatsoever, but is easy to fix with cushion inserts. Also, the shoe folds in such a way that is not too comfortable. I'm willing to sacrifice some comfort for the style, so it's a win for me. Speaking of comfort... be prepared to break-in these shoes.
