As an avid gardener, I'm always on the lookout for unique and beautiful plants to add to my garden. When I discovered Mammoth Sunflower Seeds, I knew I had found something special. I eagerly sowed the seeds in my garden, and within just a few days, the seedlings had sprouted. I was impressed by the vigor and health of the young plants. As the weeks went by, these Mammoth Sunflowers began to live up to their name. The stalks grew tall and strong, ultimately reaching heights of up to 12 feet! I received a packet of 132 seeds. Many are underdeveloped seeds (harvested prior to seem maturity); however, the advertisement said 70 to 80 seeds. I believe it's a fair effort.

Fair results with seeds. Some flowers had awesome size and plenty of seeds. Not all flowers were large as advertised. Would try again. The ones that were large were awesome.

Seeds were dry, firm and healthy. Nearly 100% germination rate after soaking them in water for 12 hour, then sewing directly to the ground.

Most of the seeds germinate, but only 1 in 3 grows more than 4 feet tall (in large pots with plenty of sunlight). A few have grown to six feet.

I was so disappointed that I never got a single plant out of this package of seeds. Purchased in 2025. None of them came up.

I planted four in a pot & only 2 grew, so far their doing great with 4 leaves so I’ll transplant them soon. I didn’t soak the seeds or anything just planted them in a rich compost soil. Maybe I’ll try soaking next time to see if that makes a difference. Otherwise you get plenty of seeds & rather they all germinate or not I can’t say.
