It took me two attempts/shields to get this on well enough. This is most likely user error - not the product. I found it challenging to get the shields on without excessive air bubbles. Now that the shield is installed on the tablet, they are great and definitely work. I also used a credit card to help smooth it out, it is stiffer and seemed to do a better job, don't be afraid to pull it partly off if you have bubbles and start again, I pulled it up at least 10 ten times.
