We have it stored away for baby number two and it fits into a hefty container just fine. Assembly is easy with instructions provided, it does have a couple of felt rings so its good to read the instructions to make sure those are in the correct spots, as they protect the woods from rubbing against each other and onto the crib. Which I loved by the way, thoughtful for keeping your crib in good condition with zero indentations! You need to buy a separate spin music box as this is just the arm, but serves its purpose perfectly. Is very stable, was never concerned about it falling onto my baby, which was a big concern of mine!!
