25 Hours a Day: Going One More to Get What You Want

A fan of BNP but NOT of this book.
Unfortunately I have to agree with the other 1 and 2 star reviews. I have followed Nick and BNP since the very beginning. I remember his videos while overseas, I remember watching him and Preston laying down the rubber mats in the first warehouse late at night. Everything Nick has done has been top notch except for this book.(pictures don’t have captions and sometimes don’t even go with that particular part of the book. )It’s like he rushed into putting a book out there just to say he published a book. I’ll still support Nick and BNP but writing is not a strong suit for Nick. It’s repetitive, literally telling some of the same stories twice and honestly falls in the category of a motivational/self help/ quick fix kind of book (opposite of what he was trying to do) and is very poorly written. If I didn’t know who Nick was I would be very confused on his story. He jumps around way too much. I know his story and was still confused after reading.I wouldn’t have written this review if I honestly didn’t believe these things.Long story short, if you stop reading the book before it’s over you aren’t missing anything.

Incredible story, incredible book!
I came across Nick Bare thru Instagram and Facebook and started following him immediately. He was down-to-earth, sometimes hilarious, and doing an almost superhuman mix of endurance and strength challenges. All on top of being an entrepreneur with a growing company and Army veteran who had gone through Ranger school and started his company while serving as an infantry officer. I followed him to try to figure out how he had done it all, and continued to do it, all while constantly growing his company and taking on crazier and crazier athletic feats. And now he's told us how he did it, how he does it, and how you can do it to. All in a supportive, easy-to-read, no nonsense style that makes it clear - he considers himself just an average guy who's learned some hard lessons, and now wants to share them with you. I preordered this book and finished it the day I got it. I'm going to read it again to make sure I absorb his lessons, and I'll reread it on a regular basis. It's that good.

Loyal customer disappointed
I am going to start off my saying that I’m being generous with the 3* rating I’m giving this book. I have been a fan of Nick and BPN for a very, very long time. I’ve followed his YouTube journey since nearly the beginning and buy my supplements almost exclusively from BPN, but this was a huge letdown.I’ve heard all the stories more than once; stories from his YouTube channel and also from his podcast episodes. This book was poorly written and hard to finish from cover to cover. He repeats his stories and it reads like my college days of throwing together a 20 page essay paper with word jumble. There are a couple of things you can draw from this book for motivation to chase your dreams, though. All that said, I’ll continue to support BPN and follow Nick’s journey, but this book was a letdown for me.

To The Point with New Perspectives on Grit and Committing Yourself to Your Life
Contrary to the lowest reviews posted I found this book to be positively to-the-point and without filler stories found in other chronicles of this ilk (progression of self from foundational military life events > daily life of greatness/admiration).Nick has set himself apart from the others at no diminishment to their stories. This book is relatable to me and connected with me because, as Nick states in the text, he is just a regular guy. I find that the transition from “regular“ person into the person you dream to be without needing to dig yourself out of the trenches of life is the most challenging hurdle of all. In the face of adversity you seemingly have more to gain. In the face of much opportunity and a baseline of ability, your challenge is to see that you can very well get away with that average, but will be left unaware of how great your life could have been operating at your 100%.If you’d like to gain insight into a determined individual’s pursuit of better, read 25 Hours a Day. Further, check out Nick Bare’s YouTube channel by that name to get to know the guy who started a highly transparent nutrition/supplement company that recently achieved their first 7 figure month, and who keeps pushing his personal limits of endurance and mental grit (Ironman etc.).Now, on to catching up on Nick’s marathon taper as he attempts to qualify for Boston. Lol.

Not worth the time to read
This book was a disappointment. It is broken up into short paragraphs- ideas seemingly strung together rather than written like a real book- perhaps in an effort to make the book appear longer, I have no clue why. It seemed like one long pat on the back to the author and a marketing tool for his business. I'm not saying there aren't a few good messages in there and that his ability to push himself isn't impressive- it is; there are simply better books out there related to this message that are truly worth reading.

Didn't want it to end!
I don't think I have ever read a book from cover to cover before but I have recently tried making changes in my life to do more. I've been following Nick for a few years now so I pretty much knew most of his story. Knowing a lot of his story already, almost kept me from reading this book but I'm SO GLAD I decided to dive into it. If this book doesn't get you motivated to make some positive changes in your life, to go one more, to embrace the suck, then start over and read it again! Thanks Nick!

Great Book
A good motivational book and interesting story from Nick Bare. I enjoy his videos and supplements and found this book to be a great source of Nick’s inspiration and drive for his company and physical endeavors.

What I took from this book has stuck...
I'll keep this simple. The author talks a lot about pushing himself beyond the limits that his MIND suggests that he has. Basically, when it hurts keep going because your body is keeping an extra reserve of energy for AFTER you push through. During this Corona outbreak I've had to walk miles back and forthe between where my wife is staying (she was at our daughters several miles away when the UK Government said you shouldn't go out any more) and home. I've done so several times humping 25-30 kilos of food on my back. I'm not a big guy. But what the author said intrigued me. So I am pushing myself hard to build comfort with discomfort. I highly reccomend this book for demonstrating that you can 'run the four minute mile' if you think you can.

A little underwhelming if you're a loyal follower of Nick's YouTube
Whilst a good introduction to Nick’s career to date, though unfortunately, I found the writing of this book seemingly superficial. As a loyal follower of Nick’s YouTube, I rushed to pre-order this book. I was perhaps expecting something more… like to learn something new about his “success”. I imagine the readership of the book will largely be his YouTube audience so I don’t know why this book wouldn’t be embedded with new stories. On the plus side, the book is an easy read ie. I read it over a few hours. It’s interesting to hear Nick’s past perspective in a cohesive form.

Go One More!
I aspire to have Nick's motivation and energy.Started watching his You Tube Channel a few years back. As a serving member of the UK Forces, I was impressed by the way he not only served his Country (US), but was also managing to run his own business.A great read and brilliant insight into his work ethic.I use some of his products, really great stuff.Cant wait to see what Nick comes up with next!

No Sugarcoating, No BS and Going One More
An overall great read and an insight into the life experiences and mindset of Nick Bare. Definately a lot to take away from this book, using knowledge and applying it to create your own path to success and always going one more.I highly recommend this book, no sugarcoating and no BS, just straight to the point.

Awesome
I’ll admit, I was a bit sceptical at first. I’ve read tons of self-help books in the past and I was wondering whether this would be another fist pumping, pat on the back style book. But it really wasn’t. Nick provides stories from his personal life in business and in the military that serve as invaluable lessons. Many of which I’ve already implemented into my own life - such as going ‘one more.’ The book is short, concise and a great read. Highly recommended!
