Pleasantly surprised.
I had my doubts, considering the low cost. I've used inexpensive after market carburetors on small engines before with mixed results. If you look at the throttle plate in a carburetor like this, compared to an OEM, the fit is pretty sloppy, with visible air gaps around it. The good news is that really doesn't matter on a lawn mower because you aren't running it at a low idle. So I found this carb fit perfectly, and ran fine. They were thoughtful enough to send two gaskets, which are often needed to seal the plastic plate properly. The priming bulb worked well also. In fact, everything included worked well. An awful lot of thought goes into a kit like this. It includes every little thing that you might need. That speaks well for the manufacturer/supplier. Five stars plus.

Perfect fit but…
It looks like a perfect replacement for the factory carburetor and the primer assembly. It was easy to install, and the quality looks good. However, mine is very hard to start. Three pushes off the primer button. But the new one does not start with any amount of Priming. I switch back to the original primer bulb assembly just in case. But the same result. If I spray some carburetor cleaner into the air intake, then it starts and runs beautifully but once I stop the engine, even if the engine is warm, it doesn’t start back up. On close inspection, I realized that the old carburetor is a small pin size hole, in a small brass fitting near the primer air hole. The new one does not seem to have that hole. I ordered a second one just in case the one I received was a bad copy. Let’s see of that one will work.

Worked well straight forward install
Worked well! Have multiple 5-6 hp push mowers and this kit would have fit all of them. Simple and straightforward installation. If having issues with starting after install be sure to check for spark through the spark plug.

Decent for the price
It fit the mower. It seems to work pretty good. It's a lot lighter than the original. So not OEM quality at all. It has a few more plastic parts. But it's cheap and it will make an old mower work for a few more years. It I also has all the accessories you would need.

Good luck if you get one that works
I give this carburetor and parts kit three stars because the air filter, the spark plug, and the gaskets are all good parts. The rest of the stuff is junk. The primer bulb plate doesn't work at all, no squirt no matter how fast or hard you push the button. Using the old primer plate with the new carburetor got the engine to start and run but the engine sounds like it is struggling to maintain RPM and doesn't have enough power to mow 4 inch grass. Someone suggested doubling up on the manifold o ring or making a proper gasket for it. It was time to go in for the night so I let it set until the next day intending to do just that in the morning. When I went to work on it in the morning the fuel tank was half empty, the air cleaner was saturated with fuel and the rest of the fuel was on the floor. Clearly the float needle and seat aren't holding. The carburetor in this kit is simply JUNK. So I did what I should have done in the first place and went down to TSC and bought an OEM Briggs&Stratton rebuild kit and rebuilt my original. Now the engine runs perfectly.

Good Solid Purchase
This carburettor was a pretty good value for the money. Decent quality. It was used as carburetor replacement for our weed eater. This item was pretty easy to assemble overall. I recommend this product.
