Not easy to squeeze
I bought these to replace the Nalgene bottles we had been using to store corn oil and dispense it for cooking. Sadly, the plastic on these bottles is much stiffer than the Nalgene bottles. They are too stiff for my wife to squeeze with her arthritic hands.I heated the spouts and bent them upward. That keeps residual oil at the end of the nozzle from dripping when they're set back on the counter. Corn oil eventually coats the bottle to the extent it will not wash off which is why I bought replacements. Nalgene ones weren't available in the size we had before.

These are WAY better than the fancy nalgene bottles with the integrated nozzles ...
These are WAY better than the fancy nalgene bottles with the integrated nozzles (which I just returned)There is a trick to using them though! After you squeeze the bottle, air will rush back in through the stem, forcing the liquid that is in the stem back into the bottle. However (!) some small amount (~1mL) of liquid will stay in the tip of the stem as the air bubbles by it, which will then dribble out when you set the bottle down.So the technique is to give it a second little squeeze before setting it down, to get the leftover liquid out of the tip, but not enough to fill the stem with fluid. This prevents drips. The other reason these are way better than other bottles is the long stem. I work with lots of volatile solvents, and the fancy nalgene bottles tend to self-empty as the solvent pressurizes its bottle. Due to the longer, taller spout, a higher pressure must be reached before this one leaks, and I haven't had any problems with naptha, benzene, or acetone in a non-temperature controlled lab.

Handy to have
Bottles are as advertised except for the tops were white on my batch. Plastic is good and flexible. Easy to squeeze and returns to shape quickly. One note of caution, if your dog has a bug deep in her ear, and you decide to squirt a little warm water in there to wash it out, dogs don't like this. Within about a tenth of a second the most violent shake ever will commence, slinging every bit of goop out in a arc across the ceiling and walls, and your dog may refuse to be in the same room with one of these bottles for a week or so.

Quality squeeze bottles
In my model building, I use several types of solvents, and as a retired chemist, these are same quality I remember from college. Note that these HAVE NO internal sleeve to prevent solvent from venting out from higher temperature, so you always get full flow when you squeeze the bottle. You can minimize venting by tapping bottle on the table a few times to remove residual solvent. I had accidentally bought the anti-siphon type bottles some time ago and could never get a controllable full flow. These bottles fixed it and are already labeled for almost all solvents I use.

wash bottles
fair price, good bottles. small up load tube but it reaches the bottom well. good control of the spray out of the end. not so firm to have to squeeze hard to get something out of the bottle. could have been a little bit bigger but it does hold 16 oz. loosen the the cap after it is used and it will not drip with temperature changes.

Work as expected
Great! I bought some of these and the one's with the labels. I use them for lacquer thinner, acetone, alcohol, mineral spirits, etc. Sometimes they dribble a little when you stop spraying and if you don't loosen the cap barometric pressure can cause them to leak. I considered drilling a micro hole in the lid that I had to cover to use but it decided to just loosen the cap. Having used them before, they work exactly as I expected. I will buy them again. I wish I could have purchased a mixed color set for a similar price.

Great product, don't get cheaper ones
Got several of these wash bottles in two different sizes and they are very well-made. I purchased other similar but cheaper ones from another company and I was sorry. Spend the extra cash and buy Bel-Arts, they're worth it.One thing to watch out for with this type of bottle is dripping. It occurs when there's a lot of air above the liquid inside and it becomes warmed by external ambient temperatures. This causes the inside air to expand and forces liquid up the tube and out. Drip...drip...drip.

Afordable and useful
I bought these for the mechanics at my shop to use for hydraulic fluid, mouse milk and other chemicals and they love them. They like that they are able to clean engine parts that are hard to reach and lubricate them without having to spray a large area. They have held up to all the chemicals we have used them for and feel like they will last.I guess we will recycle them if the caps break because I didn't see replacement ones available.
