These daystar leveling kits have been around for a long time, so I went with them instead of the cheaper "auction" options. I had these installed months ago, and there has not been any loss of lift height and I could not tell any ride harshness. Don't expect your truck to look like a lifted monster, but it is noticeable and did allow me to add larger tires. Also, my truck is a diesel - the idea that the added weigh of a diesel engine causing these to compress or sag is ridiculous, they are rated to handle many times the weight of what the entire truck weighs. If anyone notices ride height lowering over time it is likely due to other suspension components. A couple of other notes on common questions I saw surrounding these:*I DID NOT replace or extend my factory shocks. No problems at all there in ride quality or premature wear. I would not waste the time or money replacing them when this is installed, unless you need new ones anyways.*Don't go to your local 4 wheel drive shop to get these installed unless you are buddies with the owner or something. Any mechanic shop that can do front end work can install these and align to factory specs. My local off road shop wanted $300 for the installation only, plus more for alignment; I took it to a run of the mill "alignment shocks struts" shop and they installed them and aligned my truck all for $150. Just a helpful tip if you can't install yourself (I can't)*Regarding plus sizing tires, I went from a stock wheel and tire 265/70/17, to a stock wheel and tire of 275/65/20. This is the equivalent of going from a 31.7" tire to 34.1". Besides my speedometer being off by about 5%, this has caused no issues in turn radius or any other. Looks good.I paid a repair shop to install. Glad I did knowing the front end would have to be aligned again. But before that could be done, they had to install offset adjusting bushings to adjust the camber/caster on the front wheels. I did not want to get into that having never done it before.
