First Look Out Of The Box
The media could not be loaded. Qualification:This is an out of the box review. In other words, I haven’t mounted and fished with it yet. For the price point I am giving it five stars (for now). It’s made of a hard plastic and the action appears to work as it would be expected. It comes with a key “for the internal brake” or tension. The mount (being plastic) causes some eye squinting but some moderate (non-destructive - keeping in mind that anything can be smashed or abused) prying and some slight bending seems to demonstrate that it’s solid. The box “says” Made in France, so I guess it is. The directions are in FRENCH but a camera capable translator can make quick work of that. I’ll report back once installed.

Save your money
It looks good and is light. Doesnt function well and deflects easily. Drag is hard to adjust and gears slip and strip. Save your money. Go with aluminum

Reel is Junk!
It is pure junk. Doesn't work correctly. Gears sound stripped when using it. Terrible quality. Junk.
