"A high build, zinc phosphate, rust preventing primer for all types of steel and aluminium structures in moderate environments. Ideal for high volume application by airless spray for steel fabrications, sheet metalwork and general metalwork. Can also be applied by conventional spray, brush or roller.  High volume solids* – covers better, goes further Dries faster – touch dry in 10-15 minutes Easy Application Range of colours available More anti-corrosive ingredients – protects better, lasts longer Low VOC content – less solvents, less harmful to the environment  Application Method: Airless Spray, Brush or Roller Surfaces: For Steel / Aluminium VOC Level: 415g / Litre Coverage: 7.5m / Litre Touch Dry: 15 Minutes @ 18-21 degrees C Over-Coating: 8 Hours @ 18-21 degrees C Maintenance Cycle: 2 Years Thinning & Cleaning: Marathon 737 Number of Coats: 2 "Surface Preparation: All surfaces to be clean, dry and free of contamination. Blast clean steel to SA 2½ or apply to undamaged, compatible primer. Typical Paint System: 1 x 75 μm (DFT) Primathon Coating I, followed by 2 x 35 μm (DFT) Marathon Fast Finish, Marathon Fine Finish, or almost any single pack topcoat. Other systems may be specified, depending on area of use. Typical Use: Anti-corrosive primer for steel and aluminium in moderate, non-aggressive environments.  Application: Temperature of substrate should be a minimum of 3°C above the dew point, ideally 18°C – 21°C. Airless Spray: Recommended (15-19 thou tip, pressure 2500 psi) Brush & Roller: Recommended "
