I live in Florida, where we have a lot of mosquitoes. Nothing is more annoying than trying to enjoy an outdoor meal and then getting eaten alive by bugs. This bug zapper is fantastic! We hung it right outside our backdoor, and it's been great! We have noticed a significant drop in the number of bugs around us when we eat by our pool. I cannot wait for summer and move this by our pool so it can kill all the mosquitoes that hang around there! It is straightforward to clean and was super affordable! I will be buying A second one!!

Got tired of bugs flying around the inside of the garage. This bug zapper is proven tech over the years, and I know it works, and was not disappointed. Kills the larger bugs flying into the garage when the door is up, and bbzzzzap, gone. Love it, no cons, works, very happy with the purchase.

We have a problem with all kind of bugs, there always a pond of water by our fence and it tracks mosquitoes. So we put this out in are back yard and have seen a major decline in bugs. There’s nothing worse then trying to enjoy a night outside relaxing and bbq when all you do is smack yourself cause all them pesty bugs!! This thing is powerful, we have used in inside plenty of times as well. My wife always buys fruit and never eats them and sure enough are house is filled with fruit flies!!

Suddenly heard a funny rustling noise coming from the zapper across the room; supposing a HUGE bug must be struggling in it, i came up to investigate but did not see ANYTHING but the teeny gnats as usual - BUT I quickly smelled a STRONG smell of burning chemicals!!! Alarmed, I looked closely and found as pictured, the plastic is totally melted where the electric wires (housed in a small black plastic tube) meet the grate!!! I searched reviews and saw one other person share similarly (also in 2020) and though no photos attached to his, that description exactly fits my own!!! I have used this daily, for several hours to all day (never overnight), for about 2 months and have never noticed this smell before, but I don’t usually come so close to it while plugged in!. The burning smell is very strong, and the only thing close I ever smelled is once when a space heater malfunctioned, so I am pretty scared to use it again!!! And of course just past the return window :-( . Otherwise was working great I thought - silently killing 30-40 houseplant gnats each week!!!

I'm in southern florida.We have 3 dogs that bring in noseeums by the handful. I was getting bit night and day.I've had this for about a week. I put it in the bedroom with the lights off during the day and in the living room at night.I haven't gotten bit in my house in 2 days now. I'd say it's working great!!The only thing that would make it better is 3 more feet of cord. It's about 3 feet long. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. This thing is great!

For a product that was supposed to Zap flying bugs, it didn't do all that well. Moths ended up stuck in the grid but they were rarely killed. As a matter of fact, after getting a return authorization, I put the zapper back in the box and then into my car. While driving to the UPS drop off, my car ended up with a bunch of moths flying around in the car. Obviously not "zapped" as they should have. Perhaps you should run to another manufacturer.

I was really happy how this worked for the first week. It was working like it should.. however, it is now a week later and I have thrown the box away so of course it decides to stop working. What is especially bad is that the UV light is on, but the gnats and mosquitos are now flying around inside of it.. taunting me.

We've had some weird weather, with a lot if rain bringing cooler temps, but then warming up between storms so the bugs have started to come out. I got this primarily for mosquitoes, but also the crane flies have increased a lot this year already. While I don't necessarily want to kill the crane flies, I hate when they get in the house, and this seems to be cutting down on the ones getting in from my back door. So far it's working as intended and I'm looking forward to summer and less bugs getting in my house!
