I’ve served in the U.S. Army for 12 years and I’ve used several different types of head gear. The boonie cover was one of them. The fit, color patterns, and size were on par. I’m not sure if this the exact boonie that is sold at the military clothing store; but by the features I’m sure it will comply with AR-670-1. I use mine while out and about to shield my head and neck from the hot sun. It’s washable and I’d recommend that you go up a size when ordering as it tends to shrink after the first wash. Overall, it’s the next best to the real thing that are issued to US soldiers.

The pictures listed are the closest thing you'll get to actual USGS. Actual product has chineese mfg tags, is not poly/cotton ripstop, but all nylon. Camo pattern is typical civilian gucci-flage, not even close to ocp, and poorly printed. Don't waste your $.

This is the best hat I've bought today. Half the price of a 5.11 hat and it's legit. Best part is it makes me super good looking.
