No. This is for the inside of the door, it doesn't need to be waterproof.

can it open on the opposite side of the door?

Yes. It comes with 4 remote clickers that allow you to lock and unlock from the other side of the door. I’m so happy I bought this lock because it was easy to install and is easy to use and I know my home is safe.

I bought this lock about 1 year ago. I need replacements keys. Where can i purchase keys
