Perfect spinners!
The media could not be loaded. I use these for my stained glass spinners. The ones I bought four years ago are still working perfectly.

Spins a little fast for a baby mobile
I bought this for my daughter’s baby mobile. I wanted something that spun without playing music, so I gave this a try. It spins a bit fast for a mobile, but now that she is four months old her eyes can keep up with it. It also depends on weight of the objects you are spinning. The larger mobile dangles slow the spin down enough that it works. This is battery operated which is nice, my previous mobile spinner needed to be wound up frequently. It spins counterclockwise which is the opposite direction of my other mobile spinner, so I switch them out every so often to give her variety.

Works very well
I bought this motor for a wind-spinner that wasn't spinning on it's own. I appreciate that it has an on-off switch that works well. Other reviewers had said that this motor is too fast, and it's true- but only if you connect it to the spinner directly. Instead, I connected the motor to the spinner's hook with the swivel, so the swivel is between motor and spinner. This way, the motor encourages the spinner to move, but doesn't whip it around. I gave the product only 4 stars because it is clearly not weather proof and will fail sooner than later. It needs a gasket. But for this price, I am happy enough. I hope it lasts the summer.

Eats expensive D cell in less than a day! But it can be fixed for a price and some work.
Stout spinner good for a few pounds, easy to hang but it spins way too fast unless you are running a disco and want to make everyone fall down! And that is why it eats batteries but slows down as they die. That gave me the idea below..Bought it to hang a baseball-size mirror ball above my Christmas tree as a gag. Have you ever tried to replace a battery suspended over a large Christmas tree? You get the picture.Fortunately, I'm an electronics guru and built a battery eliminator with a variable voltage output. No more frantic spinning and no more trying to reach the thing off a ladder much too far from it.Amazon does sell a D cell battery eliminator for not much more than a few batteries. Love the things. They also sell one hundred ohm, liner taper, 1 watt potentiometers ("volume controlls"). Just cut one side of the wire where it exits the wall wart and put the thingie in series with one wire, no matter which one. If you screw up and cut both wires, just strip and twist one of them back together. No electrical tape? Scotch, surgical or some duct tape will suffice just fine. Be sure to strip at least an inch off both ends so you get a strong connection that won't easily pull apart. I tie wires like these in a square not, but that is tricky to learn. No strippers? Use a sharp knife laid along the wire like electricians do. I usually use my teeth on small wires like these; faster and I can't cut myself.Use the center pin and either outside pin as the in and out for the two ends, no matter which way. No need to solder the wires if you don't have a solder iron; just strip the wire ends 1-1/2 inches long and wrap each bare wire through the terminal hole twice and then tightly back around it's self. Turn the "volume" up and down to get your desired speed.Or, just have a disco ball!

Piece of Junk
Initially thought this was fantastic and said so in first review, however it stopped working right a little more than 30 days after purchase. Changed the battery several times as I thought that was the issue, but the mechanical part of this windspinner is just cheaply made. Since it is for outside, you would think the case would prevent water from leaking into it, but it does not do that. It works each time I take it apart and reinsert the battery (new one or same one produce the same results), but it stops within an hour or so. Should have known better based upon the misspelling of the word battery in its name.

I haven't tried them yet!
Well I have to say I was excited that they came so quickly, I haven't tried them yet because it is winter here, And they are going outside. I did put a battery in them and they did seem to work but only tried one so keeping my fingers crossed that they both will work. They are large but they are white so they could be hidden behind some kind of ornament of some sort.
