I own a number of metal detectors and bought a Garrett for a very specific purpose. As I always like to give any detector the best protection I can, I thought the Garrett bag would be a decent and cost effective choice.Unfortunately, I'm rather unimpressed. The size of the bag is only just (a very tight fit) big enough to accomodate a Garrett EuroACE detector when fully retracted on the column adjustment. What's more, the fit at the top of the bag is too tight.The Garrett logo stitching is rather unprofessionally visible on the inside too, a very messy and cut-patch style. It doesn't change the potential protection offered, but it does smack of a very cheap production method.Had I known the bag would be as 'average' as it is, I'd have spent a little more for a much better bag and I would recommend most people do precisely that.

Only a short review required really. Rated 3 out of 5 stars simply because it is cheap .... slightly thicker than a carlton school bag material and has a few extras. Good carry strap but .... it will NOT fit an assembled Garret AT pro ... if you fold the coil the correct way ... heal of the coil down that helps it fit a lot. But you will find that the bag has to distort to do this. And the elbow bracket will stick out 2 inches. I'm short so I had the elbow bracket on the first clip setting and the coil end on the second setting. I don't think ... when material of this nature is dirt cheap ... that you should have to collapse your metal detector to fit it in. The scimping on the material makes it a fiddle you just need not have. It has no padding at all.But if you aren't worried about folding down your detector slightly and you will be careful because of the lack of padding. It is a very reasonable price. The next garret bag which after returning this one, I had instead was £70.00 and fits my AT pro .... assembled with the heal down. And fits it perfectly. And is well padded and has loads of extra pockets. Glad I upgraded.

Reasonably happy with the bag, my one gripe is as I'm quite tall and the detector is set up accordingly.As it is ,it's too long for the bag so I have to adjust the length of the telescopic shaft to fit it in the bag.Not such a big deal but still a bit of a nuisance.

Paddle fits in it perfectly and the case keeps carbon fiber paddle in nice shape. Case is well made.
