The thick brush worked much better than the standard brush. I love Wet Brush, but the last couple of times the plastic bristles came off and the brush was useless after a year. The thick hair version is solid and seems to be better built. It does take care of tangles better than the standard on my thick hair. The bristles do not "give" as much as the standard, but hold well with thick hair.

Fantastic hair brush great for all hair types in my house we have very very thick hair we have very curly two very straight and it works on all of them The only thing I would say is that it consistently breaks in half or the bristle pad falls out but it doesn't cause breakage and I consistently buy more because the pros outweigh the cons

Love the colors. Brush’s faster than the wet hair brush’s normally brush. It’s is really good with Thick and wavy and curly hair. My only complaint is when the bristles fall out it is really hard to use but the bristles don’t fall out really fast. And olny if your like being really rough with it than it will last you a while.

my third purchase because I love these brushes. I have extensions and these brushes work amazingly well and don't harm my tapes. I have one at home, in my car and in my purse. May buy another one for work hahaha

Great and flexible. It markets itself for “thick hair” but that’s just a marketing ploy - as all wet brushes are for thick hair. Minus two stars for the expensive price as I’ve since found it being sold cheaper.
