It's too short for cooking bacon unless you cut the bacon in half (or thirds). It's also too small to cook the bacon beside the egg. If I were making a breakfast for one, I'd cook the bacon first and then cook an egg or two in the bacon drippings. The diameter of the pan is about 6 inches, about the size of a medium-sized pancake.

The best egg pan

Don't underestimate the size of this pan. It's a mini pan. Just the size for a single egg.Make sure you follow instructions on care and use I'm sure this one will last me a long time.The only down side making a full breakfast is you have to use a second pan for bacon and beansreview update after months of using.frying an egg isn't the dream i right it was. a teaspoon of oil used to fry an egg and it still stuck to the surface. washing is still easy. it peels right off. the purpose of buying this pan is defeated now that i have to use as much oil as i do for a hard anodised pan
