Does the Job
The Closed Cell High-Density Foam Tape with Adhesive on the Back was an effective solution for tackling drafts around doors and windows in my old apartment. Its adhesive back made it easy to apply, and it adhered well to various surfaces. The high-density foam did a decent job of blocking out some drafts, providing a noticeable improvement in insulation. While it may not be a complete game-changer in terms of energy efficiency, it served its purpose reasonably well in addressing drafty areas and contributed to a bit more comfort in my living space. Overall, a practical and affordable option for quick fixes in an older home.

Close the door wait the tape to stick on
Exactly what I was looking for. This tape blocks the sound very well!! The only thing is that the tape has to be squeezed very tight when door is closed in order to block the sound, so I had to put 3 layers due to my door's shape, but I think two layers would be enough or maybe even one if your door can closed very tight without anything. For those people who say its not sticky, this bothered me too actually, i wasted one whole tape because i kept opening closing my door to try and the sticky side will come off from the door and i putted them back and try again end up its not sticky anymore. I tried second time was putting them on and made sure its tight enough to block the sound then left them for a night, next day morning its was perfectly sticked to the door, I think you just need to leave them on let the door press the tape instead you do. Hope this little tip will help.

Glue is Okay. Good Tool for Sound Dampening!
I like the product, but I wish the glue was stronger. It peels off sometimes. However, it traps sound. I loved that part. It helped dampen my door (since it's hollow, sound just resonates in it) from all of the music coming out of my room. If on a budget, go for it. Why not? But there are better insulators around. If you want better stuff, get better stuff!

Worked good....for a while
I put this up in the summer to try to pay less on my air conditioning. It really slowed down the cold air that was leaking through my doors. But now it's winter and I'm noticing that it's Slowly coming off. I don't know if it will make it to next winter, maybe but not too much longer after that. It was good when it lasted though.

Easy to install. Highly effective. Warmer apt = Happier me.
This stripping is very effective and very easy to put in! My apt windows were letting in just enough very cold air to make it very uncomfortable and annoying. I'm terrible at installing most things. This was easy. First, it's very important to I measured my first window with a tape measure to determine exactly where it's best to affix the stripping. It sounds obvious, but it may not be. You probably want to ignore any lips around the frame, and place the stripping along the flat bottom -- not in between the window and any lip on the frame. Measure it. As you unroll the strip, avoid letting the sticky side come into contact with anything. Cut it 2-3 inches longer than you think you need. Once you've cut it, you can't make it longer, but you can shorten it as needed. This stripping is moderately easy to just tear off. In some places, I used a razor blade, in some I tore it. The first time, I used s scissors -- not all that necessary. As I affixed the strip to the bottom of the frame, I realized just a bit too late that the beginning part had crept away from the starting point. Be more watchful than I was. I just added a small piece. I decided to not remove the white tape affixed to the top of the sticky stripping. I figured that would only invite it to adhere to the bottom of the window and detach from the bottom of the frame. Measure the bottoms and/or the sides of your windows where air is coming in -- before you order! I was undeservingly lucky. I have 8 inches left over from purchasing stripping that is 17 feet long, 1/4" high, and 1/2" wide. I like the 1/4" high. I was just guessing that it would compress, making 1/8" too thin. I'm glad I got the 1/4". Immediately, the cold air stopped leaking in. It may have even made my apartment quieter. Friends cautioned me that curtains I plan on buying would help, but wouldn't stop the cold air from entering inside. They were right, I thought, but I didn't want to install what they recommended: clear plastic sheets covering the entire window, affixed with a blow dryer. The stripping negates the need for it. What a great purchase, a great comforting relief. I feel like I'm a warmer person already. And P.S. Nobody asked me to write this or do any other kind of marketing aid. Nobody offered to compensate me. I didn't seek it, I didn't receive any 🤓. That's my attempt at a Shermanesque, definitive statement.

Does not work!
I spent an hour trying to work with this product and it did not have enough adhesive power to stick. What a waste of time and money!

Works very well. Happy in New Hampshire
Just applied this to the front door in advance of today's winter storm, and before -7°F temperatures here in New Hampshire last night. I had a larger gap than I realized between the edge of my metal front door + the door frame. I applied on layer of this product, then added a 2nd layer, adhered to the first layer. Is working great. I'm going to buy another package of this product for other applications. I don't understand why some folks complained about the adhesive: follow the instructions and all should be well. You must clean the surface before applying. And don't try to stick it on top of old, dirty weatherstripping.

CHOEGO!
I have a problem with a smoking neighbor, and because there was space between the door and the frame, A LOT of said smoke filtered in, especially when the wind blew strongly etc. The smoke intake has greatly decreased. YAY! less second hand smoke (hate that crap). Our window also had an "air leak". I couldn't force my hand to go all the way up the window to line the window panel, but most of the air is kept out. YAY again! It's my go to, non"liquid" sealant. Easily removed. One problem is that the stickiness weakens when moved and replaced.

Great product!
Used it to put on the back of a Car plate to protect the car plate from scratching the car paint and creating rust. Great product!!
