Great product for accent lighting, hopefully your not buying them for room light because they are just for not bright enough for that. I bought them for accent light and they look great . They have 3 settings On. Flickering flame , and soft lighting . All you do it turn them on , then off again at the switch to change to the differant settings .

Nice, bright, and the flickering candle illusion is very realistic.

I absolutely love the glow of these flamed bulbs. They look real and I have had so many compliments on them and I've only had them for a few weeks. I would love to find the exact bulb color without the flicker too!

So far so good, got these for some custom lamps I've been building. As long as you can't physically see the bulb it's extremely realistic. If you can see it it's stilla great option for candelabra style lamps, the bottom half of the bulb is white plastic but doesn't bother me too much.

I recently found a pair of RailRoad inspection lanters from the late 1800"s. They had been converted to electric decades ago and needed work. So I cleaned them up and rewired them. I wanted a flame type bulb and found these. They work great. Do they look like fire? No. How could they? They do mimic fire and give a nice flame like effect. They have a A+ energy rating so use pennies a day.

They are not realistic looking

One of the bulbs is dead on arrival, but Amazon quickly replaced it at no extra charge. The rest of those bulbs work pretty good and that looks really cool. I'm giving more stars now because the replacement work so well.

I like these. In particular, it is difficult to find bulbs shaped like a flame with a regular base. I wish I could also find wifi ones to work with Alexa. These do flicker like flame, but if you use them outside of a lantern, and stare at them, you will be able to notice that individual LED lights are going on and off to create the upwards flicker like the flame...but the flicker is as close as you could get without an actual flame. And the effect when you’re not staring directly at them is realistic enough that I am careful not to leave them on at night with the shades drawn, without other lights on, lest the neighbors be tempted to call the fire department. In a lantern without clear glass, it would look extremely realistic. I use them where they are directly visible in sconces above my fireplace, though, and enjoy them—the flicker and color create a nice effect. I do wish I had the option to dim them at times, but then, you can’t dim actual candles...One can get spoiled a bit by technology. If and when these go out, I will buy them again.
