I have purchased 3 of these in the past year. Two of them have developed leaks in the body material where it abuts the seam. It appears that these seams are formed by heat and the adjacent material is weakened. I'm 70 years old with mild emphysema and don't think I could put forth enough lung pressure to cause damage, but they maybe the case. Inflating until you feel the slightest pressure may prevent this from happening. Otherwise the size and utility are great. I am using them in the bow of Wilderness System's Pungo 120s.

Tough, large float bag
Let me give you the REAL dimensions first thing - it's about 36" long, about 30" wide at the "widest" end, and about 6" wide at the "tip" / bow end. It has a little nozzle that is semi-annoying to both blow into, and to deflate through, and I don't THINK you could connect a pump to this ? I think it's all lung power baby. Which is fine, even my weak little baby lungs could inflate it in a couple minutes. Deflating it is worse though because the nozzle is so small, you really just sit there squeezing this thing for like 5 minutes to juice all the air out. Could really use a larger, quick-deflate valve or something! Otherwise it's made of a pretty thick tough looking vinyl material so I think it could take some abuse. Overall, I'm really happy with it, I think it's the perfect bag for my 10' pelican sit-in kayak that did not have any bulkheads. Now I can flip over all I want and not swamp/sink my yak lol
