Fits snuggly and prevents any water leakage.It can feel too tight so moisten it or apply little bit of Vaseline before plugging if you're going to force it deep.Need to secure it with swim caps as it does not come with strings attached. Even with tight fit you may loose it to the depth of the pool.Ear plugs basically play tug of war between tight fit and painful vs too loose that it lets water in.

Worked well. We did even snorkling with it. Recommended to use an ear cap if you are using in ocean or river.
