I had previous bought a laptop sleeve that seriously stank with a strong, industrial chemical smell, the kind of smell that from previous experience came from the material itself and would never dissipate (I tried days in the sun for this other product (a bag) and it faded but still smelled), so I returned that other laptop sleeve.This one that I just received, it definitely has a smell but definitely NOT that industrial chemical smell, more like a pleasant new car smell, so I know this kind of smell does not linger indefinitely. Very happy with the amount of padding while still staying relatively thin. Also, love the light blue color, so pretty. Glad I found this!

After looking at cases at the famous electronics retailer, costing three to four times the price, I was delighted with the quality of this case that fit my 14" (physically wide 12.9") Asus TP410U snugly with no gaps or annoying excesses. Totally delighted with the item (and mine arrived with no smell {as reported by others} at all)!

Very pleased with the color and fit of this case. My screen is 15.6" and it fits perfectly with a little room on each side to spare. It's not so jammed in there like some where you need a crowbar to remove it from the case. The color aqua is light, not garish at all and quite pleasing. The cushioning is protective enough, and substantial, but it's not going to protect from being dropped.The case came with a letter that explains the steps they have taken to reduce the strong odor from the material used and some steps consumers could take to minimize the length of time the odor will be apparent. I didn't see this letter until a few days after I'd been using it as it had been inside the case. Normally, I would pick up on these type of strong smells instantly, but honestly I never noticed any type of bad smell with this one upon opening, so perhaps their improvements have been working. If you're concerned about the typical strong odors coming from items from overseas this one should not give you problems.Fast delivery, overall happy with purchase and seller.

"It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it's easy to clean. I haven't tested it in any serious situations, such as drop testing or getting it wet with the laptop inside, so I can't speak to its performance in those scenarios.

If anyone is hoping to receive a clean sleek product without any dents, this laptop sleeve is not for you. The laptop sleeve I received had a rectangular dent as if something heavy was on top of the sleeve in the stock room. (The dents are permanent and are no longer able to rise up). Here is the proof that better care should be taken of their products.One plus of the shipping is they had sufficient padding (blown-up plastic bags) and was delivered in a big box. The sleeve also fits my 13 inch laptop and the layers of materials are thick and protective. The material is not flimsy, but firm enough that I feel safe placing my laptop inside.I will give this product one more try because of the protective quality of the sleeve (minus the permanent dents) and the simple modern design.

It looks and feels like a great laptop case.There is a smell that apparently comes from the glue which there is also information about that comes with the case. The advice is to leave it outside for a few days and the smell should disappear. Have left it on the balcony for 5-6 days and that's right, the smell is gone.I can gladly recommend this case!

It's interesting if you want to protect the laptop from scratches, but mind it's too loose and thin to provide any other type of protection.It comes with a strong smell of plastic. It goes away after about 3 days out (but funnily, the smell made our cat wanting to eat it).
