groomarangPower Of Man 'Matte Groomer' Hair Paste 100ml
C**S
Good texturising matte clay for short hair
This paste initially presents quite nicely with it’s orange and grey tin, giving a smart and professional appearance on a shelf. When you open the lid you find that there is no protective sheet or cover so the paste has shifted to one side over time and become half stuck to the inside of the lid. It might create a better experience (and possibly preserve the consistency of the product) if they incorporated a protective sheet over the wet product to keep it in place and separated from the lid.In use this paste has a light-to-medium hold and is more about matte texture and look of the hair rather than the ultimate hold. It is relatively easy to work in, and it is simple to wash out. There is no lasting residue, and the scent is mild and not overpowering.Overall, for a price of c. £9 (at time of review) I think this is a decent texturising matte clay/paste but I think it would benefit from some slight packaging improvements.

Good product for short/medium length
Groomarang is hair paste advertised as a styling product where only “one” application is needed. I never know what this means because I have never had a product that prevented my hair from moving about via wind and gravity. That said this product does do a good job at styling ones hair. It is firm, but not rock hard like so many other products. It leaves a matted finish and was very easy to work in, leaving little to no traces of paste sat on top of your hair. The smell was good and not overpowering. The last thing you want is to always smell this type of product. It was very easy to wash out, only needing a quick rinse with shampoo.Would recommend this product for people with short to medium-short hair. Its not going to do the job in my estimation for the longer looks. The product has a good, professional, packaging and something that looks good in the bathroom along with the other products.

Awful hard, crumbly texture
This hair paste has a strange texture like a mix of wax and clay. Immediately I noticed that the tub seems more than half empty which is strange. When I tried to use this I found it very hard and dry. I scraped out out a small lump and then tried to work it in my hands a bit but it doesn't melt. The lump just breaks down into crumbles.Consequently when I tried to use it on my hair it just sticks like a clump, or at best a grey looking smear. It is virtually impossible to distribute through the hair enough to have any real effect. In the plus side it smells really nice and not too overpowering, and did leave a soft/matte texture on my hands. However I would definitely not recommend this as it is too difficult to work with and not worth the price of £8.99

Effective, if a little expensive
I have used a variety of clays, and other styling products, and this one is a little different. Instead of a semi solid clay, this is more like a thick liquid, so easier to dispense, and easier to spread evenly through your hair, without making your hands sticky. It actually works really well, and once styled, it holds your hair for hours, without making it stiff, and without leaving any nasty residue. The only thing is that you tend to use more of this product than you would with a clay, and at nearly £10 for this smallish 100ml pot, it makes this hair paste quite expensive.I do like this product, and I also like the smell, but I shall see how long this pot lasts before deciding whether to buy again.

Works for me, gives decent hold for short hair.
This hair paste has a pleasant smell. Although the texture is rather creamy compared to other similar hair products I’ve tried, I have found it effective when styling my short hair. It does not leave any lasting residue and so long as used in moderation, gives a natural look whilst maintaining a good (though not strong) hold. The product also washes out easily. All in all, a decent hair product - works well for short hair, but may not be ideal for longer styles which would likely need too much of the product to achieve the desired effect.

Easy to use but needs be rubbed in
My husband have this a go on a night out. He commented on how easy it is to use and he had no problems applying at all. He does recommend ensuring it is all rubbed in as it can l qvr a little bit of grey in your hair if not. There is a lot of product inside and a little goes a long way. It has a nice scent tooThe tub is easy to open and stores away nicely

Great stuff but quite expensive
The grooming paste is great, has lasting hold and easy to apply. It is a little expensive though and not noticeably better than the bed head clay I was using before. My hair isn't very thick, so you may notice a difference using this on thicker hair.

Lightweight but effective paste
This putty looking hair paste has a light soap like smell to it. It has a lovely smooth texture. It isn't really thick and white. Rubbing it in is easy and it doesn't leave any stickiness or bits in the hair.
