I am pleased to share that I have recently begun using this, and it appears to be offering some assistance. I have struggled with skin issues for several years, and medical professionals have been unable to determine the cause. They have suggested that the issues may be related to my mental state, possibly influenced by my past experiences. Despite being in my twenties and now in my forties, the stigma associated with addiction continues to affect my interactions with doctors, which is disheartening. I suspected a fungal infection from the beginning, considering my residence in Florida and my cleaning activities at the time, but no doctor took my concerns seriously. Consequently, I have been dealing with these unpleasant breakouts that spread due to my touching them. My quality of life had diminished to a low level, and I rarely left my home because the breakouts made me appear as though I were using drugs, which I wanted to avoid. I have been trying various remedies to find relief. The condition affects my scalp, face (particularly my nose and eyes), and I now have a yeast infection in my throat resulting from a tooth infection. It is not the most pleasant topic to discuss. However, if you are experiencing similar issues, this information might be helpful. I utilized AI and shared photos of the most affected areas: my neck, behind my ears, and nose. The AI indicated that I had Jock itch and Tina versicolor, and that the infection was severe. I then started using this soap on my neck, arms, and nose. It caused a burning sensation and redness, which I believe indicates that it is working. While the condition has not worsened, it has not yet improved either. I am optimistic that continued use will bring positive results. I will update my review with photos when I observe changes, even though I am hesitant to share them. Additionally, I had hair extensions, which I removed due to excessive itching. When I washed the extensions (which I take good care of), the part that was near my scalp, when soaked with this soap, released an oily substance and other debris that had accumulated on my head after weeks of wearing them. The significant point is that I had soaked them before using the soap, and nothing came off until I used THIS SOAP! Therefore, it definitely works on your head if you wish to wash your hair with it, and I intend to do so as well! So, if it helps someone, that is all that matters! This product is potent, and I was unsure what to expect, but I am content with the results so far. If you suspect you have a fungal infection, this might be beneficial for you as well. Consult with your doctor if they are willing to believe you, but I do not have that option. I will provide updates later. My husband has had lifelong skin problems. It is like his skin does not exfoliates off. His hands and feet build up hard skin. He used a file on both and it left white piles of skin dust. Sometimes it was worst than others. AND he doesn't like change. Like old dog new tricks. So, my adult son had tried this zink soap and raved about it. I ordered a couple of bars and my husband was tremendously impressed. So much so, he cut a few of the bars in half and shared with his other adult children who inherited his propensity for skin problems. He asked me to order more and wanted at least 10 bars. So reordered. My husband says the soap rinses completely away and it is a different feeling he likes. He uses it on his scalp too. He says it feels as if his skin can breathe. He doesn't want to use any other soaps or shampoos. He's happy, I'm happy.

I suffer from occasional Tinea Versicolor which is also known as Pityriasis Versicolor. Warm and humid weather and some spicy ingredients make them appear on my skin. Mostly they are scattered in random spots on or around my neck, shoulders, and/or arms. My dermatologist told me it will go away with the application of Ketoconazole cream 2% or certain anti-dandruff shampoos such as Selsun Blue (which has Selenium Sulfide) and Head & Shoulders Men Extra Strength (which contains a 2% Pyrithione Zinc). Both the shampoos and the Ketoconazole cream worked for this condition but I needed to leave them on for a while for a better result. The Ketoconazole cream stained some of my t-shirts and smelled a bit so I no longer used it. The Head & Shoulder discontinued its 2% zinc and replaced it with 1%. This Soap has the same active ingredient as the Head & Shoulder shampoo and I am using it every time in the shower instead of my regular soap and don't use anything else. It is my experience that since I can't leave the soap on my skin for as long as I could leave the other creams and shampoos since I can't get out soapy the result is slower in comparison. So when I could leave the shampoos and the cream for a day or two and repeated it for 2 to 3 times the Versicolor would go away. With this soap, however, I was using it for almost about a 2 to 3 weeks before the Versicolor disappeared. Now I am continuing to use it as my soap and have not had any issue with it and the Versicolor has not come back. The inactive ingredients in this soap also are not harmful or harsh so that's a plus as well. So I'd say if you are looking for a quick solution you better use something that you can leave on skin for an extended time, assuming your skin won't be sensitive to them. But if you want something to use for on a daily basis to gradually get rid of and maintain Versicolor free skin you can use this soap. For the best result scrub before using this soap to clear some dead skin before or even use it while you are scrubbing. Then try to leave it on as much as you can (e.g. when you have shampoos or conditioners on your hair that require you to leave it on for a couple of minutes) before washing it off.

I've tried many facial cleaners, including expensive name brand cleansers that have been recommended by a dermatologist. Nothing has been able to help my sensitive skin, and would only irritate and dry out my skin. My father researched the best skincare ingredients to combat breakouts, and he came across this facial bar. I've been using this facial bar for about 2 years and I have noticed a difference in my skin. My skin is clearer and my breakouts are not as severe. For stubborn pimples, I use Mighty Patch in conjunction with the soap to help get rid of it quicker, and it work wonders. One thing I would like to make note of: I have very sensitive skin. My cheeks are the most sensitive area of my face. This facial cleanser can be very drying. When I first used it, I could only use it twice a week because it would dry out my skin, and my cheeks were so sensitive that it would burn to use the cleanser or when I would apply moisturizer. Now I can use the cleanser everyday with no issues, but my skin still dries out, so I recommend using a moisturizer immediately after use. Another thing I like about this bar is that it lasts me about 2 months, with everyday use. Overall, I am very pleased with this facial cleanser bar. It helps keep my skin clear of breakouts, but when I do have breakouts, I use Mighty Patch along with the soap, and it helps get rid of it quicker. It can be very drying, so using a good moisturizer after use is what I recommend. I would recommend giving this bar a try, and I will continue buying it.

This is a great product for those who suffer from rosacea. It keeps pustulates at bay. I wash in the morning and evening and have seen a dramatic difference in my skin.

I usually use Vanicream’s Z-bar of the same strength as this one with no discomfort or stinging on my sensitive rosacea prone face. The dermaharmony bar caused a stinging and burning sensation that remained even after rinsing. I won’t be using this bar on my face and went back to Vanicream. 3 stars instead of one because still usable on my body.

This zinc bar soap is incredible! It cleared up my troublesome adult acne in three days. I can’t believe how well it works. No skin sensitivity or dryness either. Amazing.

This is better than any cream for seborrheic dermatitis.. but don't overuse it .. once a day is the right dose to me.
