Worked like a charm, so far so good
The media could not be loaded. I am not sure whether this is the curse of 2020, but I have had a variety of appliance/device breakdowns this year. So, when my water dispenser on my 9-year old fridge suddenly stopped working, I chalked it up to another frustration with 2020. I originally thought my water line had frozen as some models of GE fridges have those issues frequently and my fridge had done that on occasion over the years as well. After leaving the fridge off for the day in an attempt to unfreeze the line, the water dispenser still wasn’t working, so I figured something else had broken.I am not an appliance tech or anything like that, so I started doing research to figure out what could have broken. I came across a number of sites that stated that this water inlet valve is a pretty common part to break. I was a bit leery to attempt to fix something on a fridge, but figured I would try a voltage meter Ohm test on the two plugs on the valve and see if I got a reading that indicated whether it was working or not. I tested the valve and found that the ice maker valve was reading 183. No surprise there as the ice dispenser was still working. When I tried the water valve plug, it read zero. So, it was definitely dead as the reading should be at least in the 200 Ohm range or higher. Keep in mind that this could be the case with one valve working and one not. This is what originally mislead me to think that my water line had frozen as I was able to still get ice, but not water. After doing the voltage meter test and watching videos on how to do the repair, which seemed easy, I decided that I could attempt this repair myself and I began the search for a replacement part. There are several generic brands out there, including a number of overseas sellers. I settled on this particular brand, due to the fact that the seller is Florida based, includes a one-year warranty and has a price 1/3 or less of what GE sells their valve. I figured that for 18 bucks that I could take a chance on an aftermarket part, especially since it has a one-year warranty, which by the way, is the same warranty for the GE branded one. Considering the model of my fridge is no longer made, I am guessing that GE gets this part from the same source as this brand. The valves look nearly identical. The mounting bracket is slightly different, but still mounts in the same location. So, no modification is needed there. Even most of the writing on the original vs this one is nearly the same, with one or two exceptions, where there is an abbreviation missing or something like that. That could be just due to a part manufactured now versus 10-years ago.Installation is pretty easy, even for a novice like me. First, unplug the power cord and turn off the fridge water line valve. Remove the protective screen on the back of the fridge, which on mine was 6 screws. Then 1 screw for the valve mount. Remove the two plugs, red/blue. Make sure you have a bucket handy for the water and then remove the main dispenser line with a wrench. Then remove the two water lines, which is a simple push of the plastic ring on the valve and then pull the lines out. A small amount of water will come out of the line, which is the reason for the bucket. Then with the new valve, plug in the water lines. Make sure the lines click into place on the valve locking rings or it could potentially leak. I, also, did a gentle tug of the lines to make sure they were locked into the valve. I then tightened the main water line onto the valve with a wrench. Then mount the valve by putting the mount hook into the slot on the fridge and reattaching the screw. Then turn on the water back to the main dispenser line. Check for any leaks and then plug in the fridge. I suggest checking for leaks twice, once before using the dispenser and once after to see if you got everything tightened and locked in place, when it is under pressure from use. Oh, I, also, suggest cleaning off the condenser fan before you put back the fridge’s condenser screen. There tends to be a lot of dirt on the condenser from use. Cleaning it helps the fridge run more efficiently and extends the life of the condenser fan. Finally, put back the fridge screen with the removed screws and that’s it.I was hoping this was the only fix I needed and this valve worked like a charm. I am back in business with a water dispenser again. Both the ice dispenser and water dispenser are working normally. All in all, it took less than 30 minutes to do, with a good portion of the time for me getting cardboard put down to keep the fridge wheels from damaging my wood floor and then pulling the heavy fridge out of its space in the wall.So far, so good with the valve. I will update my review if I have any issues with the valve or any warranty issues. But to save an expensive repairman bill with an easy fix for 18 bucks, I am happy. If this valve last half as long as the original, I will be ecstatic.(Included below are a pic of the old valve after removal, the new one installed and the end result.)5 stars

Valve works great!
We have a 20 year old GE fridge that we don't want to put a whole bunch of repair money into so with that in mind I took a chance on ordering this valve replacement from this Amazon vendor rather than spending a lot more money on the part from GE. It's working great so far after more than a month. Easy to replace at a fraction of the cost. It took me about 15 minutes because I also replaced the water line from the valve to the freezer door because it also needed replacing. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Good party and easy to do
I ordered on here because it was $100 from the company. I watched YouTube and changed it myself.

Perfect fit
I'm not sure if this is the genuine GE part or an OEM-compatible aftermarket one, but it fit perfectly into my fridge to replace its leaky water valve. Appears to be constructed well; I would buy this over an OEM model from GE due to the large price difference.

Worked perfectly!
My icemaker would just pour water all the time whenever the water was turned on at the valve. This simple replacement fixed my problem and saved me from having to call a technician.

It fits
Parts WR57X33326 and WR57X10032 are very similar. They both fit and work fine. Brackets are slightly different, but work just the same.

Part looked really cheaply made
Part had adhesive all over it and the joints looked poorly constructed. Returned because I was concerned about longevity of the product

solid replacement part
Going into this purchase, I knew this was not the exact part I needed but similar enough that I could make it work. This valve came in as fast as expected and packed well. Item was as described and worked perfectly in my situation.

Updated replacement part for my GE refrigerator. Works as needed and it's a quieter operation now, aswell.

Damaged product
It came in a flimsy box and both the box and the valves were damaged. The types for the fuses were all bent.

So slow
The valve works but water comes out of it MUCH slower than the list one we had.
