Shoprider Echo 3 Wheel Scooter, Red, 70 Pound, Burgundy

I bought the Shoprider Echo 3 scooter for my mother, who has soe mobility problems. She loved the Scooter and it operates great. The reason for the mediocre review is that the battery charger broke after less then 6 months of use. Several attempts to contact Shoprider regarding warranty or buying a replacement have been unanswered. I am very disappointed in their customer service.

We've had this scooter for a few months, and found it to be everything we'd hoped for: It's light enough to transport, charge lasts several days of nominal use, recharges in just a couple of hours, is easily maneuverable in tight quarters, and my wife, who often has problems walking, uses it to get around our second floor bedroom, bathroom, sitting room areas, and loves it. Amazon price at $500 is an outstanding value. Have recom- mended to other family members.

This has worked very well for me, it does every thing they said it would do. I take the chair off (one handle screw) and it slides off, lift the battery off and it is very easy to put in the back of my Toyota Highlander. It only takes about 1 min. It is a little smaller than other scooters but that is why it fits so easy in the back of my TH and it's still plenty big enough.

This little scooter is perfect for my mom to be able to shop the malls and stores. It's easy for me to pop apart and together and fits nicely in my little hatchback. Seat doesn't swivel, which would have been nice, but for the price, it's great! We've only had it for a few weeks, but we love it so far.*Update* After a year & a half it's still going strong. My 90-year old mom loves it. She rides it through markets & malls & I can barely keep up with her. One thing that needed replacing was the battery charger because the adapter part fell apart but we purchased a replacement here on Amazon for under $20. We put a swivel cushion for extra cushion & ease.

I noticed that it is good only for smooth surfaces. It has no device to absorb the shock. Riding on rough surfaces is very uncomfortable. To engage/disengage the scooter, the rider should get off from the scooter. Braking is not easy to handle. The forward and reverse levers are too loose without any tension. No ignition key. I am only satisfied with its light weight. I was not aware of the problems when I ordered it. Sorry, I had to return it. A lot of manpower had to be expended on my part and to Amozon

Battery lasts well. Seat needs a little more cushion. Like the light weight of this model when disassemble to get it into the truck would be good if it had a key so it can be left and not worry that someone will take it while gone.

Like it a lot. Easy to get around. Price was very good. Very happy with it.

Bought this for my 82 YO mother who has severe arthritis in her knees and lower back....It is very sturdy and turn radius is really good for tight spaces...controls are very easy to understand ... she loves it...and you can't beat the price...
