I haven't had any issues sterilizing with the Medela bag. **Q: Are these compatible with standard size (narrow neck) breast pumps?** A: Yes, I use these on my Evenflo breast pump. The screw top is the size of a standard bottle top and they fit my pump. I love them, and recommend. **Q: What is the best bottle brush for this 2.7 oz size bottle?** A: We would just recommend a soft brush. We have not tested any other products with our Medela containers.
