Aesthetically pleasing and very effective!
These are fantastic acoustic panels. I used 3 sets of 12 panels (two in Red/Grey and one in Burgendy/Gray) to treat quite a large bedroom converted to a studio / workspace. What I love about the colors offered is the ability to design an aesthetically pleasing pattern for the walls. On top of looking great, they perform extremely well for absorbing sound. Mid/high frequencies are virtually eliminated when strategically placed in the environment. Although: bass is still an issue you will need to address with a trapping solution Because I own the property where my studio is located, I was comfortable mounting these squares directly onto the walls using Auralex Foam Tak. DO NOT go for any of the generic hardware store spray adhesives, as they simply will NOT work. Mine fell down after a day and it was a pain to remove the sticky residue off the walls. The Autalex Foam Tak is the only thing I would recommend and now they appear to be staying up nicely with no signs of coming off any time soon. If you, however, rent or don't want to damage your walls, try mounting these squares onto ply or foam core then either nailing or hanging from your walls. Command strips would work too but ONLY if you mount the squares to a more solid surface like ply or foam core first, as tape, adhesives and command strips will not stick directly to this foam. Overall these do a wonderful job of being both aesthetically pleasing and effective in acoustically treating your environment. You won't need to plaster your entire wall space with these if you are strategic about placement and I am more than happy with the results of my installation using these panels!

Amazing company and product
I've bought 3 packs of these...and every single time I'm blown away. I ordered this and selected standard shipping and it arrived at my door no more than 3-4 days later. A full week before my estimated shipping date. This company knows what they are doing. The stuff looks good, works well and I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy foam. It does not soundproof anything, it's acoustic foam. It's used for treating echo and sound build up. My only gripe is the price. But it's still the best working acoustic foam for the price I've found by far. No chemical smell, have had at least 2 packs for over a year and not a single discoloration or crumbling at all. Solid product.

Good Starter Option for Basic Acoustic Treatment
I purchased these foam tiles as a starter solution for acoustic treatment in my home studio. They’re great for dampening reflections and improving the sound when recording vocals, especially if you’re just starting out and need a quick and affordable way to treat your space. However, after learning more about acoustic treatment, I realized that these foam tiles aren’t sufficient for capturing the full range of the audio spectrum. They work well for high frequencies but don’t do much for mid or lower frequencies. If you’re planning to use your space for more detailed mixing or mastering work, you’ll likely need additional treatment options like bass traps or denser panels. For basic vocal recording or reducing reflections in a smaller space, these are perfectly fine and easy to install. I’d recommend them as a starting point for anyone setting up a home studio.

Great look. Foam well made. Must have upgrade for office / studio
I’m loving it. It arrived in a bag jam packed liked an overstuffed pillow. I was worried about the foam being deformed but after a few hours of airing them out the foam all formed back to their original shape with no wrinkles or tears of any kind. I read a review that said they smelled weird…I personally didn’t smell anything. I do not own the property I live in so instead of adhering them directly to the wall I went ahead and bought cardboard from my local grocery store and used hot glue to adhere the foam squares to the cardboard. I then used two thumbtacks between a few squares to hold the cardboard w/foam up on the wall behind my desk. I had to move my desk away from the wall slightly as the foam is thick so keep that in mind if you have a tight workspace.

Excellent quality & fire rated soundproofing tiles
I looked around at alot of other soundproofing tiles and decided to go with these. I went ahead and ordered a 12 pack of the maroon and charcoal grey tiles. Shipping was fast and package was sealed nicely to protect the items. Be careful opening not to cut your foam tiles..... I got my order and upon inspection realized that these are really well made and precisely cut as advertised. Perfect! I then noticed that 2 tiles were not the same maroon red color as the other 4. No problem..... i emailed the company i purchased these from and i explained my situation. John got back to me literally in minutes at 9 pm on a Saturday..... excellent customer service! He explained that it was possible that i may have recieved tiles from 2 different color lots and offered to send me out a few extra tiles with my next purchase to fix my color problem. Worked out great cause im short on the area i wanted to cover anyways and this will take me 2 tiles further on top of my order..... i dont plan on actually hanging the non matching tiles..... I'm a bit picky. I used T-Pins to hang these on the walls. U can find them at any office supply, walmart, craft store & of course..... Amazon! I used the 1.5 inch. T-pins. The tiles are 2"×12"×12". I put the pins in the v of the foam and they fit well and aren't too noticeable. You can also use spray adhesive if your not worried about your walls and want a permanent application. These are even made right here in the good ol USA! Overall im very happy I went with Ortus Enterprises for my sound tile purchase. Great product and great people. Thanks!
