I want to wear it everywhere! I’m typically a 4 (5’2” 123 lbs) but I read a review from someone a similar size who said a 6 would be better so I went with that and it was the right choice. It is some what tight around the chest (I’m 34 C/D) but I feel like that’s expected with this style. Fits perfect in the waist. A little looser in the hip area for me, normally I like things a little more form fitting in the back, but I think if I had gotten a 4, I wouldn’t have been able to sit down or move. I purchased 4 Chinese style dresses and this was the only one that fit beautifully and accentuated my curves. I’m a size 2 and I ordered a 2. It was a struggle to get up over the hips and my butt but it looks really nice once on. The details are nice. A few loose threads here and there, but nothing a pair of scissor couldn’t fix. The zipper up the back worked fine. Only issue was the sizing. I usually wear U.S. medium. But with experience, I was aware of Chinese size differences. So I sized up and ordered a “Size 8.” After it arrived, the tag read “XXL.” It tried it on and noticed the waist area was significantly loose for my personal preference. Rather than finding a tailor, I improvised by taking a couple of safety pins and pinched two areas of the fabric from the inside of the dress around the waist area on the back and pinned it.
