Pedestal Desk, White

This desk is solid. This desk is heavy. This desk is just what is needed for a home office. The way that NSD delivery service handles their packages is the reason Martin Furniture packs their items so well. The driver called to let me know that they will be there in 15 minutes: great. NSD delivery just dropped the two large boxes off in my driveway and left. No signature, no inspection, no knock on the door, nothing. Why? My guess is that one of the boxes was damaged pretty good in one corner. When I called the driver I got "sorry, take it up with the manufacturer for replacement". Again, NSD is why companies package big, heavy, expensive furniture so well. Thankfully, no damage at all to the desk. It is flawless!!!! The Hutch for this desk was delivered by a different company just an hour prior. Top notch delivery. Proper time for inspection of the box, he brought it right inside the front door, signed for a box with no damage and was a professional.

I received my desk with some warehouse damage. I was pretty upset after spending the money for the desk. I started communication with their claims team and the process was seamless. They were very fair on discounting my desk due to damage, and refunds were deposited promptly. The quality of the desk is great and worth the money. Assembly is super easy.

Much better than othersb at this price but still just OK. It's a great looking desk, but some things about it just don't make sense ...to me at least. I bought the L shaped version and on one side is the holes for computer cables and on the opposite side are some outlets and usb ports which would be very convenient for a computer but they are on the opposite side from where they have the computer cable holes. So instead of being convenient they are right in the middle of the desk side without the computer and not being used. And I have an extension cord running to my computer stuff. Also the top 2 drawer sizes are very small thing on both sidesthing. I can't figure out what to do with 4 small drawers all the same size.... how about one side with 2 small drawers and the other side one big drawer. Other than those 2 things it is a great desk. 4 stars. Would be 5 stars if that plug was over on the other side where it should be.

Again, packaging looked great. Screw was in bottom of cabinet. It was stripped out so just replaced with another diameter screw. The leg was busted so we glued it up and added a couple of screws. Perfect no but easier than returning and another dumpster load of packaging. Other than those two issues the desk looks great.

This desk is solid and well put together. Very little assembly required, but because of the heavy weight, two people are needed. The ledge for the cords underneath, on the inside corner are well placed for keeping everything organized, off the floor and out of sight. Extremely happy with this purchase!

This is a solid wood desk. It is very well-made. The shipping was excellent. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an executive desk for a home or office setting. 5+ stars.

The desk in the end is 4 stars for looks. Craftsmanship 3 stars on the desk I recieved. It took the company and shipping company three desk to get a desk that was not damaged or missing parts. The third and final desk still was missing parts, but I went and got the parts myself as the company was taking to much of my time. Three deliveries is not fun. some of the legs holes did not match up to th screw holes. just a pain .

This is a solid desk and very attractive. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the holes for the wires that are in the top of the main desk area are difficult to work with. The underside of the desk makes it very difficult to run wires across under the desk, so it renders the wire holes on top worthless.
