Studio Ghibli Music Box (My Neighbor Totoro)

This is so adorable and whimsical! I first saw it at a convention for $100 and thought that was too expensive. I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I went back a other day, but couldn't find it anymore. Thankfully Amazon had it for $70! Mine shipped in a box and arrived in perfect condition. Now that I have this Totoro music box, I feel like I have to get all the other Studio Ghibli ones!

The first time I ordered, it came broken (might have been someone’s return) but my replacement was perfect. Be careful as it’s not packed super well, it is shipped in a bag and not a box. I love the way the little characters move, it’s so cute it made me want to cry. It looks so pretty with my plants.

Like all items from Ghibli, it is in high quality, wonderful design, and the music is beautiful like the story. Kawaii.

We ordered two of these they are so cute. My daughter age 11 and her friend we gave the second one to treasure them. They are fragile (i would not give this to a 5-7 year old and expect it to survive) but the moving parts are interesting to look at. They make for a unique gift.

I bought this and another Totoro item as a birthday gift for my sister. She loved both items. The music box plays music from the film and there is movement in the music box. It is adorable, but you would hope that the construction would be better for what it costs.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend. The shipping was super fast as it was even a day earlier than expected! I opened it to double check before wrapping and it's perfect! Everything is in tact and working as it should. The only downside is that the music doesn't play for very long, even when cranked all the way. I would estimate it plays for about 1 minute before needing to crank it again.

And also works good, but if I have to complain about something it would be that the music tempo changes from faster to slower till it finally stops, and if you press a bit it continues playing, its strange. Also the delivery was 10 days faster

Cette boite à musique Mon voisin Totoro est fantastique. Tout d'abord elle est jolie et représente Totoro avec son parapluie ainsi qu'un Chibi-Totoro (petit totoro blanc). En tournant la molette au dessus, c'est le son de la chanson du film Tonari no Totoro que l'on entend. De plus, les noiraudes qui sont sur une branche se balance, la parapluie de Totoro se lève et redescend et chibi-totoro devrait monter et descendre. J'utilise le conditionnel pour ce dernier car le câble n'est pas assez tendu et cela ne fonctionne pas chez moi ! Malgré ce petit défaut, je trouve cette boite à musique génial pour les fans de Totoro. N 'hésitez pas à regarder mon test en vidéo et à poser vos questions.
