It performs as described however I have to say if using it as a beard straightener it would be better for much longer beards. My beard is currently about 6 inches long and I found it quite difficult to achieve the look I was aiming for. The look the straightener gave my beard was more of look of someone that just stuck their finger in a light socket. I would have to say in my own personal opinion of course, that this probably works better for hair straightening more than for beards.

Works great on short hair and beard. It gets up to 450 but i feel i have to hold the brush for some time on the hair to achieve the desired look. Other then that it would be 5 stars.

This brush is an easy addition to my morning routine! I have thick curly hair and this brush calmed down my frizz while not making it poker straight. It heats up quickly and is very easy to use, much easier than a flat iron and there is less risk of burning yourself. I like that there is an auto-safety shut off and it is small and light weight enough to take it with me when I travel.

I was disappointed to say the least, I wanted a beard straightener and it is nothing more than a regular hair straightener, that does not heat enough to actually straighten a full set of long hair.

This is not a blow dryer that’s why I gave it one star on drying but it’s so easy I blow dry my hair and superquick and then brush it with this and it looks perfect so much easier than a flat iron I love it

I bought the brush after trying to straighten my really curly beard using my wife's flat iron and getting burned. The brush is pretty big and can heat up and straighten a large area at once. After playing around with the settings I have gotten some really good results.

Does what it should do

Does not burn your face like other hot combs that I've used. Temperature settings are great and easy to use. Has an auto-off feature thankfully. This actually straightens my beard and makes it look more kept. Just remember that hair straightening isn't permanent.
