How can I know that this is not a fake Figma?

I dont think there is a way to know whether or not this is a real figma. I bought this figure last year and it was real, but i might have just been lucky. If you dont want to risk getting a bootleg figure, i would either recommend buying this from "Tokyo Otaku Shop", or from the official figma website.

if this is bootleg why is it sold by max factory which is the real seller?

When we receive the figure the box was not the quality of a traditional figma box you would receive from the legit source. As well it was missing a stickerthat every figma box has too. Plus the quality of the figma right away was noticeable not to be a legit one.
