Great quality & fit - Very comfortable - Superb Value
I tried more expensive name brands and returned them to size limitations and the fact that most of them didn't include CE Level 1 hip protection. They are definitely durable when compared to the more expensive brands. They look great and they actually fit me perfectly, especially around the boots. I recently went on a 200 mile fall ride with temps hovering around 50 degrees when I had left. I wore UA liners underneath for added warmth. For the first time, I can honestly say that my legs never got cold and they were extremely comfortable to wear all day long. Just note that these are not overpants and the water proof liner can't be removed, however, they are machine washable. My wife liked them so much and decided to buy a pair for herself.

Great pants for the price!
I bought these with the intent of wearing them for my 45 mile commute back and forth from work. I get off at 1 am so at times it's quite chilly. My first concern was sizing. I'm 6'3" and weigh 235lbs with an athletic build. I typically wear a size 34"x36" pant size. I ordered a size XL long wich states 34-36x35.5" inseam with the intent of wearing these as over pants. I was quite pleased with the fit over my jeans but hadn't actually worn them while riding until today. It's cold right now, 42ยฐ and we're on self quarantine for COVID-19 precautions, so I thought, what better time to try these out!? I ride as GSX1300R so I have to pull my legs up past a 90ยฐ angle to get my feet on the pegs. The pants were somewhat restrictive for this and in fact I actually missed the pegs a couple times. I could feel them bunch up behind my knees quite a bit but to be fair these are NOT designed to be over pants. They did pull up a bit exposing a small portion of my ankles but not too bad (I was wearing sneakers, not riding boots). Again, for someone riding a cruiser style bike I don't forsee this being an issue. I went for a very short ride about (8 miles) but did bring my bike up to 65mph and never once did my legs get cold or felt a draft. In fact, my chest got cold through my leather jacket but my legs were fine. The material seems durable and well made. The only problem I've found is that the zipper on the back of the pants and the zipper on the back of my Joe Rocket jacket are sewn on in a way that doesn't allow me to utilize the function of zipping them together. Overall I would absolutely recommend these pants for the price.

Its NOT Waterproof
I have had these for a couple years. The protection is excellent. I landed on my hip in a motorcycle in a low speed slide and didnt even get bruised. However, they are NOT waterproof. They are fine if you encounter briefs periods of showers, but not in full on rain for over 10 minutes. Also, one of the belt loops ripped through when I bent over. Other than that, its very good.

Reasonably priced protection - worth every penny, get some!
Overall the quality seems good. The protection is level 1, but that's made clear in the description. Purchasing level 2 is easy if you feel the need. The stitching is good, the fabric is a bit stiff - but maybe with a washing it may soften up. I am 6 foot and around 220 lbs. I bought XXL and standard length and found the knee protection to be a little low on me - but maybe I'm short thighed. Good fit at waist. I don't ride when it's too hot, but did take these out on a 88 degree day. It was a little warmer than I wanted, and I found the vents to be minimally effective but not uncomfortable. I have three pairs of pants, but I plan on wearing these regularly - so I'll write an update in the future.

Great pants for adventure riding.
Amazing Pants, I took them to himalayas and rode for 6 days. It made me feel secure and warm all the time. Enough pockets to even keep small bottles of water / cola and also keep cell phone / insta360 camera. Love them and much recommend for cooler weather.

Not waterproof
These are great pants for some water resistance in a light drizzle or something. Maybe even some rain on your way to work or somewhere quick. However, I went riding for only a couple of hours in the rain and the rain just soaked right through. Not sure if true waterproof exists or not. For the features though, the pockets, straps, and vents are great. I still actually would recommend these, but only three stars for selling it to me as waterproof as I was depending on that.

I'll actually ride with these!
Getting ready for a fall ride up to the Ga/NC mountains. I'm from South Florida, so I'm looking for something warmer than jeans to wear, but also wanted good ventilation when things warm up. These appeared to do the job, and then I read a bunch of good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. The price is pretty darn good, too. So they fit "right". I'm 5'10, 210lbs, 57 years old but still semi-athletic body with an extra layer on top. I ordered the XL Short, and this is the first pair of riding pant that actually look nice (without an extra 6" of pants all bunched up on top of my feet). They fit well, and lots of velcro to tighten/loosen where you need to. They were warm in just a few minutes walking around the house in 75 degree AC, but not making me sweat. (All vents closed). They feel waterproof, they have the rubberized zippers (good), and I will update after my trip in 2 weeks so I can give a riding report update, but so far, I'm impressed. The hip padding is thin, but that's fine, the pants are comfortable, and it is better than nothing. The knee pads are located in the right place too!!!! (went with the SHORT length). I'm giving it 5 stars now, and if I get soaked I'll lower the score... it always rains in FL, so I'll be testing that out soon enough. I'm the author of "Ride Captains and Tail-Gunners" - and I have almost 175,000 miles of experience.

Pleasantly surprised!
I ordered the Men's Large Short size. I'm 5' 7" and weight 190lbs with an athletic frame. I do lots of squats and deadlifts, so I'm more solid than buff. My inseam is 30" but I always like my riding pants to be a little long. Right out of the box, these pants are perfect for me! The length with a bent knee is spot on, and the pants have enough freedom to wear thermals in the cold weather, but that probably won't be necessary since the mesh lining will act as an extra layer. That said, they may be a bit warm for the summer. The adjustable waist makes fitting these a snap. Even though I haven't ever worn these pants on a ride, I had to write a review after trying them on. I expect these pants to be well worth the money and a great value. Well made. Solid stitching and materials.

Rugged looks, uncomfortable knee pads
These pants are meant to be waterproof but after a few minutes of heavy rain, the water gets in. The pants are comfortable enough except for the knee pads. They seem very hard and pressure on the knees becomes uncomfortable after an hour or so riding. However, even though waterproof, the pants don't cause overheating, even on hot rides. I love that the bottom leg zip opens wide enough to pull up over MX boots. The zip is water protected by a folding internal flap. The supplier provides an excellent sizing chart. I was able to order the exact fit. The pants have a rugged appearance and the contrasting stitching looks great. For added comfort, I recommend lightweight knee-length shorts under.
