It is true that you must ensure the latch-hook is fastened or it will break very easily. Other than that - they work excellently. These newest ones seem even heftier and have an added grip.

I bought two, for two-handed grocery carrying. I'm a non-exercised, fat weakling. There's no way I was carrying over 25 pounds per handle out of that store. One broke in the grocery store parking lot before I even made to the car. The other wouldn't latch closed, so both units hung open by nearly three inches and torqued very unsteadily from one side of the handle to the other. It was actually better to not use them and let the bags cut off circulation to my fingers to get the groceries home.

This is a great concept, but the plastic is too flimsy and you can't carry a lot at once because the shape of it starts to bend and the latch won't close. I bought this because my apartment is on the 3rd floor and instead of making 6 trips up and down the hallway and 3 flights of stairs when i do a big grocery shopping trip, we try to superman it and carry as much as possible, but my hands always get sore from the bags digging into my wrists and fingers. This really did help that and make it so much more comfortable, but i stopped using it because it wasn't sturdy enough . It also makes it nice when you have to set down the bags for a minute (ex. to open the door) because you can just pick them all right back up together instead of re-grabbing the little handles. If you are only carrying a few, this is a good find.

I think its a pretty good buy. They are cheaply made but they do work fine. Its nothing wrong with product. The color isnt as pretty as the picture. Its kinda dull but who cares about the color as long as it does the job. My money was well spent

If I were to buy again, I would pay a little more and get a higher quality one. You get two for the price, but they aren't particularly great.The clasp isn't strong. Just a thin piece of plastic, and it doesn't "lock" really. It doesn't feel super sturdy but it can get the job done, if you don't mind not feeling completely confident. It will hold a gallon of milk and other bags if you put the bag with the milk on first so that it stays on the opposite side, away from the latch. Put it to the front and it will easily pull the latch apart. It is not particularly built tough so it flexes easily.

I don't know why I didn't buy some of these earlier! These are perfect for bring groceries or other purchase in from the car. They cut down on the number of trips that I make to the car. I plan to buy more of these to give for presents.

I bought this thinking it would be a great stocking stuffer because the concept is clever. However, when I received it (after about a month), I immediately could tell that the quality and construction were very poor. The opening for the handles only opens a tiny bit, so it is hard to get bags into it. Additionally, the plastic is very thin and would likely break carrying anything over just a few pounds. Thankfully, the company honored my request for a refund.

Hands hurt from carrying in those plastic store grocery bags loaded with food and stuff ?I purchased these and so far they really help the old hands after unloading the groceries from the car.Hookup several bags to each Trip Grip and we save trips back and forth to the car.My son lives on the second floor and he really finds these great to use. The price was great and we use them on every store trip.

These are cheap hollow plastic handles. Don't waste your money.If you are like me and bought this for doing groceries, and you planned on carrying more than a few pounds then you are wasting your money, as these will start to bend and twist carrying a bag of milk.If there is a "legit" version of these someone please link them for everyone else, because these are not worth any amount of money as they are quite literally useless for what they are meant to be used for.

They can handle light weight bags but open up on their own when you have milk bags or heavy grocery.
