MAY.T Model Painting Alligator Clip Sticks 20PCS with Stand Base 1PCS for Airbrush Hobby Model Parts

I new in to paint model, and I showed the old guys at my local shop and they loved it, and suggested I should get it, especially for the price. I like it. The base is solid. Rubber ends on the clips slide off, so if u need the better grip they slide right back on. Sticks are solid so if u need to use cardboard for any reason it will work.

I still use it, it's a great idea but four of the clips were broken when I opened it. Luckily there are 16 more but I wish it was complete and better quality.

The metal wire can separate when using the tighter holes but it does it’s job well as a wet paint parts holder for me.

It will not hold heavy or big pieces. The black rubber caps on the alligator clips make the purpose of the alligator clip, mute. The alligator clips are not tight on the metal rod. The metal rods do not fit snug in the holes in the base.

So, addressing some of the concerns that I saw when I reviewed this before buying it.One, the alligator clips do crack off the posts very easily. I am comfortable using a pair of pliers and some super glue to reattach them. They open reasonably wide and have a good positive grip.Two, the metal post is solid so you can bend it and it is very sturdy. Use a pair of pliers and your monkey brain.Three, the base has two different sized holes in it. This is standard for these kind of displays. One fits the included metal posts perfectly, the other is for larger diameter.Four, the base weight is a little light for some users, it works fine for my Miniatures and Gundam but is a little awkward with larger-scale kits. I'm going to glue it to a larger base but this is an issue out of the box.

Does exactly what I needed it to. Holds parts securely and makes it real easy to paint and dry smaller parts. Wish I had bought 2.

All the holes work. Half are tight holes and half are wide holes. None are too tight like other reviewers said, they slide in and out easily. The clips are nice too. The metal rods are also bendable, which is a huge bonus. I thought they might be stiff fiberglass or something, but they are 2mm solid metal rods. It's better than I expected.
