Can it withstand laying inside the gas tank?** A: Yes. It will not swell like rubber hose. I have it submerged in a Farris zero turn. No problems so far. **Q: Genuine tygon tubing is branded all along the length, can anyone tell me what the tubing says?** A: "SAINT-GOBAIN Tygon (R) F-4040-A" is inkjet printed in white every foot or so on the yellow tubing. **Q: will this connect to an 5/16 npt thread?** A: No the 1/4 ID hose will not fit over 5/16 pipe.
