It does the job perfectly -- no more lost lens caps, and no more searching my pockets and camera bag wondering where I put them. Now I can clip the lens cap to my camera strap-- I always know right where it is, and it stays there. The clip is easy to secure to the cap, and it holds onto the strap securely as well. Unlike other leash sorts of devices, it doesn't ever get in the way. I haven't found any other solution that works as well. About the remark about how simple it is: well, yeah, it's simple, but it still requires manufacturing, and the design is perfect.
